Katherine watched the two men glaring daggers at each other. It's been an hour since the meeting had begun and still the tension between the two men hadn't eased. She rolled her eyes at their unprofessional behaviour.

Throughout the meeting, it seemed like she never existed. The men discussed and argued with each other without bothering to acknowledge her. This actually pissed her more.

"The figures have been manipulated." Nathan yelled bringing, Katherine out of her thoughts.

"The figures aren't manipulated. Your estimations were wrong." He snapped making Nathan glare at him.

Nathan was about to snap right back at him when his phone started to buzz. He picked it up and checked the ID.

"I have to receive this. Please excuse me." with that he walked out of the office, leaving Katherine alone at Ashton's mercy.

Ashton cleared His throat. "So what are your views on the matter in hand?" he started trying very hard to sound professional.

Katherine gave him a confused look. She had no idea what he was talking about. She mentally kicked herself for not paying attention.

"I...l..." but before she could reply, Nathan barged into the office. Katherine sighed in relief.

"I'm sorry Katherine, but there's an emergency and I need to leave." he gave her a apologetic smile.

"I hope it's alright? Or we can just postpone the meeting." He suggested.

"It's alright Hyde. We don't need you anyways." Ashton snapped at him.

"I'll be fine Nathan." She assured him. He gave Ashton one last look and left.

"So shall we continue?" Ashton smirked.

After what seemed like eternity they were finally done with the meeting. By now Katherine was so exhausted that all she wanted was to go home and rest.

Throughout the meeting Ashton had been nothing but professional with her. And it relieved her. Ashton watched katherine gather her stuff almost ready to leave.

"Katherine." he called out making her jump in fear.

"You scared me." she sighed.

"Sorry." he chuckled.

"So you were saying something ?" she enquired.

"Actually, I wanted to apologise for yesterday. You look so much like my Adriana, that I-" he paused in the middle.

"It's alright. I heard about your wife. I am sorry." he gave her a sad smile.

"Katherine, I want to make it up for yesterday." he started. She gave him a confused look.

"I was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me tonight, apology dinner?" he offered.

Katherine stood there confused, she didn't know how to react. She wasn't sure about what she wanted.

"It's alright if you don't want to." he frowned.

"Ok fine." she finally replied. Ashton couldn't believe what he had just heard. His Adriana had just agreed to go for a dinner with him.

"So, I will pick you up at 8?" he asked with a smile.

"No its alright. You just text me the address and I will be there." he frowned, but didn't persuade her. Instead he just nodded with a smile.

"So see you at dinner?"

"Ya at dinner." she smiled at him and left.

Ashton paced impatiently as he waited for Katherine to show up. He has been waiting for almost half an hour now but she hasn't showed up.

'late as usual' he thought to himself. But just then a sleek black limousine pulled out in front of him, bringing him out of his thoughts.

Ashton's jaw dropped to the ground when he saw her get out of the car. She was wearing a black long dress that hugged her curves perfectly and showed off her shapely legs. Her hair was down in loose curls and her makeup was done perfectly.

Katherine smirked at him as she walked towards him, swaying her hips more than required. Ashton watched her every move not believing what he was seeing.

Is she really his Adriana? Was the first thought that entered his mind. His Adriana would never dream of wearing something like this. She looked bold and beautiful. Her blood red lips made her look hot and dangerous.

"Ashton, are you alright? You looked zoned out." she nudged his shoulder bringing him out of his thoughts.

"You look beautiful." he mumbled, making her blush.

"Thank you." she replied with a smile.

"So shall we?" he took her hand and led her into the elegant restaurant.
