"Honey what does it say?" Alison asked as she watched Adriana walk out of the bathroom.

"Positive." Adriana replied as she stared at the two pink lines confirming her pregnancy.

Alison's face lit up the moment she heard her. "Oh my god! honey I'm so happy for you." She replied as she pulled her into a hug.

Adriana pulled back from the hug and gave her a small smile.

"What if he does not want the baby?"

"Don't be silly sweetie. He would be over the moon the moment he hears this." Adriana gave her a small smile.

"I hope so."

"Honey! I know there are lot of problems between you both. But it doesn't mean he doesn't love you."

"I know Mom but..."

"Adriana don't stress yourself so much. It's not good for the baby."

"I think you are right." She replied with a wide smile. And grabbed her purse from the bed.

"Going somewhere?" Alison raised an eyebrow at her daughter.

" lI'm going to surprise him." she blushed a cute shade of pink.

"Somebody's blushing." Alison teased as she watched her daughter blush.

"No I'm not."

" lWhatever you say sweetie."

"Bye Mom."

"Bye baby." She replied as she watched her daughter leave.

Adriana walked into the enormous building with a bright smile on her face. She couldn't wait to see his reaction.

A lot of people greeted her as she walked through the crowded lobby. She gave them a warm smile and acknowledged them.

She walked into the elevator and pressed the button to the top floor. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she waited patiently.

She took a deep breath and headed towards his office. For some unknown reason she could feel something wasn't right.

She walked past the reception desk but it was empty. That's strange.

She simply shook her head and headed straight to his office. Loud moaning sounds were heard from the other side of the door. And colour drained from her face.

No this can't be happening , she's just imagining things. Her Ashton would never cheat on her. She made a silent prayer and pushed the door open and froze

No! This can't be happening. He can't do this to her.

"Ashton." she choked as tears started rolling down her cheeks.

Ashton immediately pulled back from Rita and looked up at her pale face. She looked like she was about to pass out.

"Adriana I-" but he didn't get a chance to explain himself as she ran out of the office.

"Adriana wait." Ashton called after her but she ignored him. There was nothing left to explain. Everything was over.

She quickly got into the elevator and pulled out her phone from her purse. And called the one person who she knew would never betray her.

"Baby is everything alright? " Alison's voice was heard from the other end of the call.

" Mom..." she sobbed.

" Adriana, what's wrong ? "

" Everything's over Mom." She continued to sob.

" Adriana stop crying and tell me what's going on. " but she just hung up on her.

Adriana wiped her tears as the elevator door opened and walked out.

" Mrs Wallworks, is everything alright? " David (her chauffeur) asked with concern, as he opened the door for her.

" David pass me the keys. " She ordered as she closed the car door shut.

David gave her a confused look but handed her the keys. Adriana grabbed the car keys from him and got into the car and sped off.

Alison glanced at the clock for the nth time. It's been almost two hours since she received the call from Adriana and she hadn't showed up yet.

She couldn't stop thinking about her. She was worried. She didn't know what was going on and it was making her sick.

She was abruptly brought out of her thoughts by her loud ringing phone. She grabbed her phone from the table and answered it.

" Alison? " a familiar voice spoke up from the other end.

" Nina? What's wrong and why are you calling from the hospital? "

" I'm at work Alison. I called you to inform that Adriana was just brought into the hospital."

" What happened to her? Is she alright? "

" She had an accident and she doesn't look good. "

" I'll be there as soon as possible. "
