"Where the hell is she?" Nicklaus growled as he entered the house, scaring the shit out of her.

"What's wrong Nick?" she whispered.

"Where is she?" he growled again making her flinch.

"She's having dinner with her friends." she replied trying very hard not to stammer.

"Don't lie to me Ali." he warned.

"I'm not lying Nick. That's what she told me before she left." she replied honestly.

"How could you be so careless." he yelled in frustration.

Ali didn't dare speak a word. She knew that right now Nicklaus wasn't going to listen to anything that she would say.

But it didn't matter, all she cared about was her baby. She just hoped that Katherine wasn't in any trouble.

Looking at Nicklaus, she was very sure that something was seriously wrong, and her baby was the reason behind it.

She watched Nicklaus pull out his phone from his pocket and dialed someone.

"Hunter." he barked into the phone.

"Yes sir?" he replied hesitantly.

"Where the hell is she ?" he growled.

"At the Wellesley hotel sir."

"With whom ?"

"Wallworks sir."

"Good! Now I want you here in ten minutes." he ordered.

"But what about Miss Katherine?"

"You are going to be here in ten minutes if you want to keep your job." with that he hung up.

Nicklaus knew he was way too lenient with his daughter and regretted it. He wished he could just beat sense into her. But it was way too late. She was a fully grown woman. And moreover he could never hurt his own blood.

Ashton observed her every move through out the dinner. He couldn't help but wonder how different she was from his Adriana. The way she spoke, the way she held herself, so different from his Adriana.

"So how was she like?" Katherine asked curiously as she fiddled with her fork.

"Like you." he smirked at her making her frown.

"Very funny." she replied sarcastically.

"So how long have you been in London?" He asked wanting to know more about her.

"For a while. But why?" she raised an eyebrow curiously. Nobody had ever asked her this before.

"Nothing. Just-" he paused when the waitress arrived with their desert. She gave Ashton a seductive smile and left.

"Looks like somebody's got an admirer." she teased as they watched the waitress leave.

"Not something new." she just rolled her eyes at his response.

"You didn't reply to my earlier question." she smirked at him.

"What question?" he asked innocently.

"How was she like?" she repeated her question.

"Can we speak about something else?" he replied with a serious tone.

Katherine figured it out that Adriana was a sore subject for him. And came to a conclusion never to speak about her.

The rest of the dinner went by very smoothly. They discussed about various things and shared jokes.

Ashton noticed that she never spoke about her past or her childhood. Whenever he tried ask her more about her early life she would just change the subject.

He could sense that something was wrong. But couldn't figure out what it was. Her constant changing of subjects made him more suspicious.

He knew something was wrong and he had to find out. He made a mental note to find out more about her past.

"Thank you for the dinner, and I really had a great time." Ashton frowned at her formality.

"Why that face?" she frowned at his expression.

"So That's all I get for making you smile all night?" he smirked at her. She raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" she replied with confusion.

Ashton didn't reply, instead he just pulled her close to him and claimed her lips with his. God! He had waited for this all night. Her lips were so soft and sweet.

He expected her to push him away, but she didn't. Instead, she did something he never expected. She kissed him back.

The kiss was sweet and passionate at the same time. Sparks erupted all over body. Making her melt in his arms.

Katherine slowly pulled back making him to grunt in frustration. "We need to stop." she whispered sounding breathless.

"No" he replied still looking at her lips hungrily. And pulled her back to him.

"We need to stop Ashton or we are going to end up in the papers tomorrow." she warned.

He glanced at his surrounding and realised that they were now standing out of the restaurant and people were watching them In awe.

"See you at work?" he asked hopefully. Making her smile.

"Good night Ashton." She replied as she walked to the car the smile still playing on her face. She waved at him and got into the car.

She watched him get into his car. She heard someone clear their throat next to her making her flinch. She turned towards the person next to her and her smile immediately vanished.

"Dad?"
