Chapter 32

Thank you so much for loving the story.hope i would match with your expectations ❤️

Kavya stumbled into her room, her heart heavy with pain and confusion. The room that had once felt like a sanctuary now felt suffocating, closing in on her as she struggled to make sense of the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside her.

She collapsed onto her bed, the tears flowing freely now as she cried out in anguish. Her chest heaved with each sob, the weight of betrayal and heartbreak pressing down on her with a force she could barely bear.

The memory of Arjun pleading for a second chance played over and over in her mind, his words echoing in her ears.

Tune kya kar daala
Mar gayi main
Mitt gayi main I
Ho ho ji, haan haan ji
Ho gayi main
teri deewani deewani

Despite the hurt and betrayal, a part of her couldn't shake the deep connection she had felt with him, the bond they had shared for so long.

But alongside that, the stark reality of his deception hung heavy in the air, casting a shadow over their relationship and leaving her reeling with disbelief and hurt.

As Kavya lay on her bed, tears streaming down her face, the image of Arjun pleading for a second chance kept replaying in her mind.

Just as she closed her eyes, hoping to find some respite from the pain, her phone began to ring. She throw the phone away and then lie again.

Arjun stumbled as he climbed the narrow metal staircase that led to the top of the water tank. The city lights twinkled below him, blurred by his intoxicated state.

With a bottle of whiskey in hand, he reached the top and threw the empty bottle into the darkness, watching it shatter against the concrete floor.

Frustrated and desperate, Arjun pulled out his phone and saw multiple missed calls from Kavya. He pressed her contact number and listened to the ringing tone, only to be met with silence as she continued to ignore his calls.

Tears welled up in his eyes as he collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed with emotions and regret.

"Kavya, please," Arjun whispered into the void, his voice filled with sorrow and longing. "I need you. Please pick up."

But there was no response, only the distant sound of the city below. Arjun clenched his fists and closed his eyes, a mixture of anger and sadness consuming him. He knew he had messed up, and now he was paying the price for his mistakes, alone and isolated

As the night air grew colder and the city lights dimmed, Arjun's heart ached with the realization that he may have lost Kavya for good.

He wished he could turn back time and undo all the pain he had caused her, but deep down, he knew it was too late. Feeling defeated, he sat there in silence, the weight of his actions heavy on his shoulders as he stared into the empty darkness.

Arjun paced back and forth in the small tower room atop the water tank, his mind clouded with alcohol and emotions. With shaky hands, he fumbled for his phone and dialed Rana's number.

"Hello?" Rana's voice came through the receiver.

"Rana," Arjun's words slurred together.
"Arjun? Where are you i went to your house? Is everything okay?" Rana's concern was evident in her voice.

"I... I don't know," Arjun admitted. "I... I called Kavya, but she's not picking up. I... I messed up, Rana. I messed up big time."

Rana listened silently as Arjun poured out his heart, his voice cracking with emotion. He spoke of his insecurities, his fears, his regrets. He spoke of how much he missed Kavya, how much he loved her. He spoke of his struggles with alcohol, his constant battle with his demons.
