Promo

Hey everyone, I know it's very late posting i think after the July protest, I had been so late in my chapters where like this.
Sorry, today I could not manage the write the chapter but have a promo. I thought selfish desires were going dull as all good things, and here,my mind again start and here back from where we started, 😆and this time its going to be different 😮‍💨

The press conference was in full swing, with reporters eagerly asking questions about Arvind's latest business ventures with tarun. Among the crowd of journalists, there was a particular reporter known for his probing questions and sharp wit.

As the conference progressed, the reporter raised his hand and was given the floor to ask his question. "Mr. Arvind, there has been quite a buzz surrounding the launch of the international company in India. Could you shed some light on how this decision will impact local businesses and entrepreneurs?"

Arvind, with a sly smile, turned to look at Arjun who was standing in the corner of the room. Clearing his throat, Arvind began to speak, "Well, you see, the entry of this international company may seem like a positive development on the surface. But we must not forget the impact it will have on our local businesses and the hard-working entrepreneurs who have built their livelihoods from the ground up."

The reporter's eyes widened as he sensed Arvind's implication. "Are you suggesting that Arjun Karmarkar'sproject is detrimental to the interests of our country?" he asked, looking pointedly at Arjun.

Arvind nodded slowly, his tone grave. "I'm simply saying that in our pursuit of economic progress, we should not forget the importance of supporting our own people and businesses. Bringing in foreign companies may bring quick profits, but at what cost to our national interests?"

----

The streets were filled with protesters holding signs and chanting slogans in front of Arjun's office building.

Inside the penthouse, Arjun stood confidently with a  cup of  coffee in his hand, overlooking the chaos below. Kavya, wife, watched with a concerned expression on her face.

"Arjun, what's happening out there?" Kavya asked, her voice filled with worry.

Arjun waved her off, taking a sip of his drink. "Don't worry about it, Kavya. It's just some disgruntled locals who don't understand the benefits of this new international company coming in."

Kavya shook her head, "But what about the small businesses that will be affected by this deal? They will lose everything they have worked so hard for."

Arjun scoffed, "They're just collateral damage, Kavya.  "

Kavya's eyes welled up with tears, "But Arjun, is it really worth it? Seeing those people out there, fighting for their livelihoods...it just doesn't seem right."

Arjun's face hardened, "I know what I'm doing, Kavya. I already faced a lot till now. This is the future, and I won't let anyone stand in my way, not even you."

Kavya looked away, hurt by Arjun's words. She realized then that his ambition had blinded him to the consequences of his actions.

-----

Arvind sat at his desk in his office, a troubled expression on his face as he flipped through the papers in front of him. Jaysurya,  , concern etched in his features.

"Arvind sir, are you sure you're doing the right thing?" Jaysurya asked cautiously. "Your ongoing tussles with Arjun seem to be causing a lot of chaos within the company. And think about poor Kavya...she must be in a sorrowful situation, seeing her husband and her father at odds like this."

Arvind's jaw tightened at the mention of Kavya. He knew that his actions were hurting his own daughter, but his pride and determination to come out on top in the power struggle with Arjun clouded his judgment.

"I appreciate your concern, Jaysurya," Arvind replied, his voice strained. "But I have to see this through. I won't back down, no matter the cost."

Jaysurya could only watch sadly as Arvind turned back to his work, the weight of his decisions heavy on his shoulders, oblivious to the pain he was causing his own flesh and blood.

Kavya sat on a park bench, tears streaming down her face as she held onto her baby bump tightly. Her heart felt heavy with the weight of the situation she was in. She couldn't believe how things had turned out with Arjun,

As she wiped away her tears, she feel a wave of sadness wash over her. The hurtful words and actions of Arjun replayed in her mind, causing her already fragile state to crumble even more.

Why she had to suffer always?
