Chapter 27

Arjun lay in bed, tossing and turning, unable to find peace in sleep. His thoughts were consumed by the memories of Kavya and her betrayal.

His eyes wandered to the wall across from his bed, where several frames filled with pictures of him and Kavya adorned the space.

As he stared at the pictures, a wave of bitterness and anger washed over him. Each photograph was a painful reminder of the love he had felt for Kavya, the love that had been shattered by her shallow intentions. He couldn't bear to look at them any longer.

Fueled by irritation and frustration, Arjun got up from his bed and strode over to the wall. With determined hands, he began taking down each frame, one by one, his movements harsh and unforgiving. The images that once brought him joy now only brought him pain.

He packed the frames into a box, hoping for a sense of relief as he did so. The weight of the memories lifted slightly from his shoulders as he set the box aside.

Arjun stood on the balcony, clutching the box of photo frames tightly in his hands. His heart heavy with the memories of happier times with Kavya, he had initially decided to burn the pictures as a way to rid himself of the pain and betrayal he felt. But as he gazed down at the familiar faces captured in each frame, his resolve wavered.

The images were a testament to the love he once shared with Kavya, and despite her actions, he couldn't bring himself to destroy those memories. The laughter in her eyes, the joy in their smiles, the love that had once bound them together - it all came rushing back to him in a flood of bittersweet emotions.

Tears welled up in Arjun's eyes as he slowly opened each frame, running his fingers over the glass and tracing the contours of their faces. The warmth of nostalgia mingled with the cold sting of betrayal, creating a tumultuous storm of conflicting feelings within him.

In the end, love won out over anger and hurt. Arjun couldn't bear to let go of the love he still felt for Kavya, despite everything that had transpired between them. With a heavy heart, he carefully placed the frames back in the box and closed the lid, the weight of his decision settling in his bones.

As he turned to go back inside, the box still clutched tightly in his hands.

Kavya sat in front of her vanity mirror, her face covered in a thick layer of facial cream. Cucumber slices rested on her closed eyes, creating a comical image. Milly leaned against the window sill of Kavya's room, a mischievous grin on her face as she watched Arjun enter the mansion.

"Look who's here, Kavya. Your ex-boyfriend has come calling," Milly mocked, expecting a reaction from Kavya.

To her surprise, Kavya didn't even flinch, maintaining a serene expression as she continued with her beauty routine.

"Why do you still allow Arjun in the company, Kavya? It's not a good sign to have him around. He's just going to try and mess things up," Milly commented, her voice filled with annoyance.

Kavya finally opened her eyes, removing the cucumber slices and wiping off the excess cream from her face. She turned to Milly, her gaze unwavering.

"Arjun and I may have a history, but that doesn't mean he can disrupt my professional life. I trust him enough to keep things strictly business. There's nothing personal between us anymore," Kavya explained calmly, her words resonating with a sense of maturity and assurance.

"He is becoming a wounded lion after your rejection, he can stoop any low. I suggest you to cut him off from the business. You should do it long ago"Milly huffed in frustration, not satisfied with Kavya's response.
