Chapter 1 - Summer Days

Connie Parian

I felt the hot sun and cool winds hit my face as I stuck my head out of the car during the long ride to my brother's house in Florida. It seems like it's been ages since I've seen him. We have always been close, but it seems like we kind of lost touch in between the move and him working, so when he told me I should come down for the summer I got here as soon as I could. As much as I love my brother he's not the only reason I came to his house. He lives in the house with three of his friends, Duncan Cash, Jason Astoria, and Jason's cute funny, lively twin brother Johnny Astroria. Ugh! I can't wait to see him , his laugh and style is just to die for. Yeah, some may call it a little kiddie crush but it's not it something I have felt for forever. Plus it's a Connie Crush which is an honor if I even like you because I barely like anyone. I laughed out how excited I was to see the boy. He could probably care less, that's if he even knew I was coming. I stuck my ear phones in my ear and turned up the volume. I sat back closing my eye, I took in a deep breathe then exhaling with a smile on my face. Summer was going to be great.

"Con we're here sweetie, wake up." My dad lightly tapped me. I opened my eyes and the bright sun hit my eyes.

"I'm up dad."I unbuckled my seatbelt as he got my bags out the trunk. I closed the door walking to the door with my dad carrying the bags. I rang the door bell and waited for someone to answer the door. No one came I decided to knock so hopefully someone would hear it. Soon Jason came to the door.

"What's up Con? Hi Mr. Parian sorry we were outside we didn't here you guys."

"Its alright Jason, how have you been?"

"Pretty good sir and you ?"

"I'm alright, I'm living aren't I."

"Haha, your right about that sir. Let me get those bags for you guys and you two come in. Johnny come here bruh!!" He shouted turning .

I smiled when he called Johnny 's name. I fixed my shorts and made sure my shirt was in tack. I touched my curly hair which I had dyed light greenish white. I popped my lips to make sure my purple lipstick was in full affect.

"I have to go, but I will talk with you guys some time later, give me a call sometime. Connie I will see you in a couple of months, I love you have fun baby." He kissed my forehead and we shared a hug.

"Bye Dad." I waved goodbye as he got back in the car and drove off hunking his horn. That's Michael Parian for you. Always in a rush to do something else so important. I turned around and The twins had my bags in hand walking in the house towards the guest room. I came in closing the door behind me. I followed behind them, they sat my bags down and they turned towards me.

"Hey Connie Bun how you been girl?" Johnny said giving me that always cute smile.

"I'm doing pretty Johnny. Its nice seeing you all again." I hugged him. It felt like a dream at the time. We soon let go and I hugged Jason so it wouldn't be weird or anything. I walked outside and was ambushed by Madam Nina, the royal puppy who has grow so much since the last time I saw her.Yet her white coat was very much so still intact, I expected it nonetheless Duncan keeps her and he is clean. Something I love about him and my brother, although my brother is a tad bit more on the clean side than he is. I rubbed the side of Madam Nina's stomach greeting Duncan. I had a sit on the swinging chair and tucked my feet under me. Johnny sat by me and stretched him arm on the swing which meant he had his arm around me. I smiled harder than every. I swear it had to be crazy how much I like him.

"So where is my brother?"

"He went to the store he should be on his way back home anytime." Ducan said, his eyes were still glued to his phone at the moment.
