Chapter 12- New Guy

Adrian and I have only went on a few but all of them great, in which I guess you can call us a couple. He is the most wonderful person to be around and he understands me, everything that I could've have ever dreamed of. Today we are going for a walk along the trail then horror movies all night long. Going up this steep hill was putting work in on my legs, I am like inches away from just falling to the ground.

"Babe, let's take a break."

"Why ? I don't need it."

"I know you dont, but my poor little legs do. I'm going to die out here."

"Okay baby as long as you don't die." He said wailing his hands in the air. I laughed taking a seat o the bench."Okay you ready?" He said jumping back up.

"Nooooooo Adrian ." I whined.

"Con just get on my back. Your only like six hundred pounds right?" He laughed.

"Adrian not funny." I pushed him.

"I'm just playing, now come on." He kneeled down and I jumped on his back. Lifting back up He continued on with the trail at his same fast past while I laughed saying weird things in his ear. Completing the trail, he walked to his house were I got down once at the doorstep. He grabbed the key from his pocket and unlocked the door, pushing the door open we walked in. It was a nice house very spacious with many rooms.I had been here once before to help him find his lucky watch as he would call it.

"Make yourself at home. I'm fixing to take a shower, pick which movie you want to watch." He went into his room closing the door. I went over to the the DVD 's piled over on the television stand humming People by Birdy(seriously old but I love it), I went with a good old fashion horror film Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I sat the movie on top of the DVD player and went into the kitchen pop some popcorn. Putting it in the microwave singing waiting for it to get done.

"People, help the people and if your home sick give your hand and I'll hold it. People, help the people oh and if I had to wait , oh if I had to wait. I'll be cold as a storm and rich as the full who dragged those good hearts away." Ending of the chorus I opened the microwave. Pouring the popcorn in a bowl I swayed my hips trying to reach for the top cabinet for the pop corn sauces. I trying standing on the tip of my toes, but still no luck. I finally gave up and climbed up on top of the counter. Once on top I was finally able to reach the cabinet , opening the door and grabbing the cheese and butter sauces I did my little happy dance.

"What are you doing?" I turned my head to see Adrian walking in, in only his boxers . He had a towel in hand sapping some of the water from his hair.

"My happy dance." I giggled doing it again shaking the sauces.

"Your a quirky girl you know."He laughed

"Haha. I know now catch me." I fell back into his arms. I grabbed the pop corn and he walked over to the couch. Being up against him he smelled so good, he was lucky he put me down when he did. I sat the bowl on the table and opened the DVD player to put the movie in. Adrian had cut off the lights and was back on the couch. I pressed play and snuggled up next to him. Three hours of kissing, fondling,and replaying all the good parts we had missed the movie was over. I decided to call it a night, since I still had finals in a week which I hadn't studied for.

"You know you can stay here."

"I know but I have to study, I'm really nervous about finals."

"Don't be, you have it in the bag."

"I'm praying that I do."

He opened the door and kissed me. "Good night."

"Good night." I walked out to my car. I waved goodbye as he closed the door watching me drive off. Reaching my apartment I got out of the car and walked up to my door. There was a box in the middle of the floor. I picked it up and opened the door. Anna was in the kitchen eating brownies.

"Hey boo." She took a huge bite from a brownie.

"Hey hey. What's going on?" I placed the box on the table to grab a brownie.

"Nothing just gaining thunder thighs by the second. Mr. Castello gave you that box?" She asked winking.

"No, I don't know who's from it just has my name on it. It was sitting out in the nibble of the door."

"That's strange I've been here all day. I didn't hear the doorbell ring or anything."

"They probably couldn't find the apartment number and just sat it down." I shook my head, we have the laziest mailman crew ever.

"Yeah probably so what were you and Adrian doing ?"

"Watching a movie like I told you."

"And I probably would have believed that,but you have a hickie on your neck almost in the chest region."she smiled.

"Shut up. I'm going to my room and you find yourself some business." I laughed grabbing the box and two more brownies.
I sat in the middle of the bed with the box, I shook it to see if I could hear something. After that unsuccessful approach I took my key and sliced through the tap on the box. Op being the box there was a big teddy bear inside that looked familiar, but I couldn't place it. Maybe my mom and dad had sent my teddy bears as a bribe to come home. I laughed taking the bear out there were lots of pictures at the bottom of the box. Sitting the bear to the side I looked at the pictures and I knew who it was from. Pictures from the carnival, dates, and hang outs with friends were all in there. Their were pictures with "x"'s on them. Looking at them they were pictures of Adrian and I at the library and coffee shops. Picking off a piece of paper on one of the pictures I read the note to myself.

"You are mine forever. Why can't you see that? You and this new guy will not last and I will make sure of it. I don't care what I have to do , I will do to prove my love for you. -Johnny "

I threw the box in the trash and threw the teddy bear on the floor. I sat in bed scared and confused. Why won't he just leave me the hell alone? Ugh, I have to do something about this.

But I know whatever I do means he has to be gone for good.
