Chapter 7- Let's Be Honest

It's been a month since the incident at the cook out and I've been trying to forget about it, telling myself what he told me was true,but I just have this doubt and don't know why, maybe it's just the devil trying to bring me down , but not today because today is my boo Anna's 19th birthday, I am so happy. We are going to out on a double date and then we are going to get turnt at a party , even though Duncan just thinks Johnny is just being my date so I can have one. I swear he is kind of slow, it whatever that's a him issue. I walked into the living room were Johhny's was with Nyla and sat in his lap. Nyla sat on the floor beside the couch, I was messing with him while was trying to watch the movie. He pressed pause and looked at me.

"You just don't quit do you." I shook my head no. He poked me tickling me, I tried to move but he wouldn't let me go, I was gasping for air.

"Stop , please."

"You going to quit?"

"Yes, yes." I almost shouted.

"Mhmmm I like the way that sounded ." He said

"Oh shut up." I laughed He grabbed waist fixing to kiss me when Richie walked in with a bag of chips.

"Ric-"

"Save it. I know and been knew. Now cut the movie back on. " He said crunching on chips .

"When did you find out?" I looked at Johnny He shrugged then turned back to Richie.

"I saw you guys at the Carnival. I was there with Mariah and I was going to beat his ass, but she talk me down and told me You had to live your life and no matter what I did you were going to find a way to be with him so I left it alone. I said Okay as long as y'all not having sex I'm going to leave it alone. And let's be honest you two are too obvious."

"How you know we not?" Johnny asked.

"Cause this house too quiet and you know your brother would've told me that you either had some girl and was wearing it out or I needed to hurry back to kill some random dude cause she was getting some."

I laughed and turned the movie back on. Johnny and I were kissing and Richie ate chips .

"Aye chill! I said I knew and I was alright but don't do all that infront me. We not that cool anymore." He said.

"My bad bruh." Johnny said laughing. We sat back watching the movie when the doorbell rang. I went to answer, it was Mariah, who had saved Johhny's life. Haha, I said hey letting her in and I went to my room to call the birthday girl. I was kind of sad though don't get me wrong, I love my girl and everything, but her birthday being here means that the summer is soon going to end and I'm not ready for it to end quite yet. I checked the time it was getting late into the afternoon, I made a decision to go ahead and get in the shower or I knew I was going to late. Coming out the shower walking to my room I picked up the matching outfit that Anna and I had picked out yesterday. Skater skirts and shirts that said I'm with her and she's with me. I did my make up and fixed my freshly washed curls. Spraying on my perfume and tying up my wedges I grabbed my purse and phone walking out of the room.

"Just fixing to knock on the door." Johnny said walking towards me.

"Haha I know, still say it."

"You ready to go baby girl?" He said smiling at me.

"Yes, Hold on." I pulled my phone out to make sure I looked okay. "Alright." We laughed walking out of the house . We got in the car and drove to a nice bar and grill that Anna loves. We parked and walked inside were we spotted Anna and Duncan sitting in the back.

"So are we going to tell Duncan?" Johnny asks as we walked up to them.

"He'll find out before the nights over."

"Hey boo!!!Johnny. " She was still on edge about the cookout situation, what can I say we are a team.

"Hey Dun you sexy thang you, Hey boo, happy birthday!! You old bish !!" I laughed putting forty dollars on her birthday girl pin.

"Well thank you, I will use this money to buy the new aluminum walker. You know they sell it in pink and purple." She laughed. I kissed her cheek.

We sat down to order our food and eat . We talked about how the summer was going, out planes for later . When summer ends sadly, and hair goals haha. I never knew how hilarious Duncan was, we were joking about how if he and Anna broke up we would then have to expose ourselves as a couple. Everyone knew it was joke but Johnny got really hostel and tensed up not wanting to talk about it anymore. I shrugged it off and went on with the dinner, he was not fixing to ruin the girls day cause he can't take a joke. Once leaving the dinner to the club the car ride was quiet . I tried to talk to him,but he just ignored me. It was starting to pissed me off. So as soon as we were at the club, I quickly got out the car walking away from him. Anna and I came in the club first, we got the v.i.p. section because of my dad's connections, practically how I got in, thank you Michael. The guys finally caught up with us, I was smoking a blunt when Johnny grabbed me by my arm pulling me to the side.

"Whatever your going to do, you better not embarrass me in this club with your petty attitude problem." I said exhaling the smoke.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry baby girl . I know your mad at me and you have the right to be. "

I looked at him for a second then kissed him."Whatever." He was lucky I was high and feeling good. Gettting bored of sitting down we went to dance floor to dance. Anna and I were dancing with each other and soon I was getting twirled around by everyone, the club was totally lit. After a few drinks, table dancing, and accidentally kissing Anna we left the club. Walking out Johnny couldn't keep his hands off me. Kissing all on neck tickling me , causing me to giggle.

"I should've known you two were together. Nobody just volunteers to be Connie's date and she just say yes." Duncan said.

"Look at sexy thang getting the hint. I'm going have to change his name to smart sexy thang." We laughed." Well good night you guys and have a happy birthday night, if you know what I mean." I hugged Anna and Duncan. Johnny and I got in the car and he drove us home. Unlocking the door Richie and Jason were in Jason's Room playing Call of Duty . We snuck past his room not wanting to talk and into my room. Taking my clothes off Johnny grabbed me from behind kissing on my neck. I giggled and broke away from him. Putting my hair in a loose bun I got in bed, I looked at Johnny who was undressing humming some random song . I laughed he was totally tipsy, if not drunk. He got in the bed and moved in between my legs. I kissed him, tasting the liquor on his lips. He pulled down my underwear and was positioning himself.

"Wait-"

"What's wrong baby girl?" He looked at me and I went silent. "You okay?"

"Yeah it's just....."

"Just what baby girl? Whatever it is you can tell me."

"I'm not ready."

"Your not ready...."

"I'm sorry it's just that-"

"It's okay baby, I understand that we just got together and you don't want to anything like that yet. I can wait. " He moved to the side of the bed.

"I'm sorry Johnny." I said grabbing his hand.

"It's okay." He kissed me."let's just go to sleep."

"Yeah, good night ." He wrapped his arm around me as I sighed.

"Good night baby girl."

That was easy, but I would have to be honest with him soon.
