Connie Parian

I can't believe this was the last day of summer, it had literally flown by. It seems like just yesterday I was just getting to the house gawking over Johnny and keeping secrets. Now the summer was over, Johnny and I were together, and I was as free as can be. I'm sad, I'm going to miss these guys for real. Just thinking about put me on the verge of tears looking a the flipagram I had made of us for the summer. I locked my phone and finished packing my bags so when it came time to leave I would be ready. As I zipped up my suitcase the door cracked open and Madam Nina came in and jumped on me. I started crying, I was going to miss her most of all. Duncan came through the door.

"You okay little one?"

"Yeah sexy thang I'm going to be alright. I'm just going to miss you guys so much, especially you Nina."

"I know, I'm going to miss your little ass joking and sneaking around."

"Shh! Don't talk about our affair out in the open." I laughed wiping my tears away.

"Give me hug crazy girl." I walked over and hugged him.

"What's going on here?" Johnny said coming through the door.

"Nothing man, she just upset."

"Well if she upset why she giving you a hug?"

"Cause she don't want to leave, you know what I'm going go to my room. I don't know why you with this crazy dumb ass. " he shook his head waking out the room.

"I'm sorry Duncan, thank you so much for caring. I'll talk to you Before I leave." I watched him walk out the room Madam Nina follow beside. "Why the hell did you do that ?"

"What ? I'm just say he is a little bit too helpful."

"He has always been like that before and after we were a couple, plus he's my best friends boyfriend. What type of fucked up Shit is that?"

"I'm sorry, I'm just protecting what's mine."

Protecting what's his ? I'm not a damn item, he must be losing it. "Whatever Johnny." I shook my head grabbing my phone and purse. I walked past him, he grabbed my wrist.

"Where do you think your going? I was talking to you."

"Ouch Johnny. What the hell? Let me go, I'm getting in the car aren't we suppose to hanging out today. Let me go your hurting me damn it." He let go and I rubbed my wrist.

"I'm sorry, baby girl. I'm just upset that your leaving.." he hugged me. I hugged back but I was seriously confused. He is acting super strange, this isn't like him at all. I brushed it off walking into the living room. Richie was sitting on the couch with Mariah, I gave them both hugs and walked out to the car. Johnny came after a few minutes He was getting off his phone I wonder who he was talking to that took so long. The drive to the park was awkward, sitting in silence only the radio keeping us company. I was ecstatic when we arrived the park, that bummer of a ride was killing me. I got out and walked over to the swing. Sitting on the swing I moved my legs around when I felt hands grab on to the chains . I looked Back and Johnny began to push me. I held on, and let the cool air hit my body as I swung back and forth like a pendulum.

"Hey guess what? I got a bet."

"What's that?" Johnny stopped the swing.

"I bet I can......... beat you to the climbing net." I jumped off the swing and took off running. Johnny laughed and took off after me. We got to middle of the climbing net and shared a seat in the little pad.
