Part 30/ S2

The world felt like it was moving in slow motion as you sat on the bench, staring blankly at the floor.
Your hands trembled, even under Ni-ki's firm hold.
You were truly shaken by what you had just witnessed—it was the most terrifying moment of your life.
Ni-ki sat down beside you, his grip on your hands never loosening.

Still overwhelmed with fear, you decided to close your eyes and before you knew it, your head had leaned onto Ni-ki's shoulder as you drifted off to sleep.
It was already getting dark when Ni-ki noticed you had fallen asleep.
The staff quietly informed everyone to head back to the hotel but you were still asleep on the bench onto the bungee tower.

"Should we wake her up?" one of the staff members suggested hesitantly.
"No, don't but could you turn off all the cameras please?" Ni-ki requested, his tone calm but firm.
The staff looked confused but complied, switching off the cameras that had been filming the bungee jump scene.

Once the cameras were off Ni-ki carefully stood up, gently laying your head back against the bench to avoid waking you up.
"I'm going to carry her on my back, could you help me so she doesn't wake up?" he asked kindly.
The staff nodded in agreement , and together they managed to get you onto Ni-ki's back without disturbing your sleep.
With you securely on his back, Ni-ki began descending the stairs his grip on you remaining firm and protective.

Minutes later, he arrived safely on the ground, still holding you close.
Everyone else had already returned to the hotel following the staff's instructions, even though they had wanted to stay and check up on you.
Ni-ki carried you all the way back to the hotel without a stop.

When he arrived, Ha-Eun came running to the front door, her face filled with concern.
"Oh my gosh how is she now? Is she okay?" Ha-Eun asked, her voice frantic.
"Shh" Ni-ki silenced her gently.
"She's sleeping" he added causing Ha-Eun to immediately quiet down.
Without another word Ni-ki carried you upstairs to your room.
Kicking the door open, he entered and carefully laid you down on your bed.
He pulled the blanket over you to keep you warm before turning to leave.

Just as he reached the door, your voice stopped him.
"Where are... you... going?" you mumbled , your voice sleepy.
"Oh, you are awake?" he said, caught off guard and unsure of what to say after the terrifying event from earlier.
"Hmm" you hummed softly still half-asleep.
"Go back to sleep Yn, Love you" he whispered turning the lights off and opening the door to leave.
But again, you stopped him.
"Ni-ki... don't leave me... alone... please" you murmured, your eyes barely opening.

Understanding that you were still shaken, he nodded and returned to your bedside, crouching down in front of you.
"It's okay Yn , I'm here" he said softly, his voice filled with reassurance.
You held his hand tightly as if afraid that he would leave or that danger would find you again.
Ni-ki smiled gently at your grip.
A while later, you drifted back to sleep and so did Ni-ki, his head resting lightly on your hand.
