As we were halfway through eating and cracking jokes, I peeped Lia being more quieter than usual.

Normally she joins in and makes her own but she's just quiet scrolling through her phone. Barely even touching her food too? Yeah something's def off.

I guess Myles peeped what I saw and glanced at her phone. "Lia, you good?" Myles casually asks but you can tell he's genuinely concerned.

Everyone was too caught up in their conversations to focus so it was just us three. "I'm fine, just tired." She replies with a faint smile. Weird. She was just perfectly fine, oh nooo who did it?

Myles jerks his head back knowing she's lying. Yet, he brushes it off trying to not make it a big deal I guess.

Eventually everyone was done eating so we all grabbed our shit to go while Quincy paid for us. You know he got them stacksss! Okay? You know he got them stacksss.

As we were all walking to the cars, chatting, Lia is still silent but it's like nobody noticed. I peep Myles mutter in Lia's ear but I can't piece together what he's saying.

Lia just shook her head but he still doesn't look convinced. Whatever's going on got my girl messed up, I'm not fucking with it. We ride at dawn for Aurelia.

We all split up and Lia heads with Quincy as we say our see you later's. I hate saying goodbye, it's never a goodbye, it's a see you later.

Goodbye to me feels like forever and god forbid that's my last time hearing from my loved ones.

I sent a text to Myles trying to see if he knew anything but he was no luck. So I texted Quincy, Lia wasn't going to say anything but maybe Quincy might help.

Okay whatever Lia is going through must not be small because even Q knows and won't say anything. The group chat was silent. I tried not to overthink it, but Lia's quiet behavior still lingered in my mind. Something wasn't sitting right.

Later that night, I was sprawled across my bed scrolling when my phone buzzed whos.q messaged me. Finally.

Although we're all making jokes, all I can think of is Aurelia. She normally would've joined in on clowning Myles and got on Quincy as if they weren't in the same house. Wait.. same house duh.
