I placed my book bag down on the island and went into the fridge to grab some grapes. As I was rinsing them off I peeped Jonathan enter, so we said hey. "Yo sis when I tell you this don't start being extra. Nobody got time for that bull." He says sitting down next to my stuff.
"Okay.. what's up?" I look at him weirdly before grabbing my homework out of my bag. "So... I got this crush on this girl. Shut up. Anyway, she's really pretty and I wanna ask her out to hang but I don't know how." Awww young love.
"Wow. Smart move for telling me to shut up because you knew I was going to do something," I start noticing him roll his eyes. "Yet boys have it easy, just tell her that you want to get to know her better and see if she wants to go to hang. Maybe try offering the arcade Quincy and I went to." I suggest.
"Great. Taking her to where you had your first date with your new boyfriend." I mug the shit outta him cause Quincy is not my boyfriend. "One, he's not my boyfriend. Two, it's something small just to get to know her and get her out of her comfort zone just in case she's shy. I know you can be closed off sometimes so it'll help you out too." I express and peep him nod. "Ahh smart. Guess you're not dumb after all." He walks to the pantry.
"Oh screw you, never gave dummy. What happened to Gia being the love of your life though?" I jokingly ask. Ever since Jonathan met Georgia, he's been crushing on her and mind you she looks at him like a little brother. He knows all of this but would not give up the crush. It pissed Heather off for the longest but she eventually got over it.
"Look my baby Gigi will always have a place in my heart. She just has to grow up and realize I'm the love of her life," He shrugs. "When she does then we can finally have our happy ending but she wants to be into girls all of a sudden, so when she realizes you girls ain't shit. She'll be coming back to J-money and I'll be here with my arms wide open ready to take her back." He explains eating a little bite.
This is a whole new level of delusion. "I don't know what I find more disturbing... you calling yourself "J-Money" or the fact you're about to ask a whole girl out to hang with you knowing you're still "in love" with Georgia." I say while looking at him disgusted.
"I feel so misunderstood in this house. I gotta go." He pulls out his phone to call his friends. As he's walking up the stairs I hear him talking about how I don't get him and he needs a new sister, what the fuck?
I continue on working on my homework when I get an incoming call from Quincy. Everyone exchanged numbers the day we hung out with Jasmine. Only thing is we were unsure if we wanted to add her into the group chat on iMessage or not yet so we still text on Instagram.
"Hello trouble," I said, answering the call and placing my phone down while I went back to scribbling equations. "Trouble? That's funny coming from you," he shot back. "What are you doing? I can't see you." I look and see his face all in the camera.
"Math. Wanna help?" Doubt it. "Pass," Called it. "I called because you've been slacking on your job." I pick my phone up looking confused. "My job?" I asked squinting. "I don't recall signing a contract to entertain you 24/7." Like what?
"So you know your job description and choose to ignore it? HR is not gonna like this." He wags his finger going 'tsk tsk tsk' in the phone. "Girl bye. Don't you have your video games for that?" I rolled my eyes, even though I knew he couldn't see me.
"Video games don't roast me back sooo it's not the same," he said with a laugh. "Sounds like a personal problem." I popped a grape in my mouth. "Go ask one of your little fan girls to keep you company." This boy got mad girls ready to be with him and would be dying to talk to him. Yet he wanna call me and bother me AND HE JUST GOT MY NUMBER.
"Fan girls?" he repeated laughing louder this time. "If I had those, I wouldn't be calling you." Tuh. "Wow, I'm the bottom of the barrel now?" I say while putting my math away since I was done.
"Nah," he said, his voice softening just a bit. "You're my favorite, Heav. That's why I called you first." Oh please. "Whatever," I said brushing it off. "You're annoying." He replied, I feel like that was a flirty comment but I might've been buggin.
"And you love it," he said. "Anyway, what are you doing this weekend?" Oh gosh I see how this is about to go down.
