SIXTEEN

We arrived to Sky Zone and walked in signing our waivers. After that was done I paid for everything and then proceeded to head to the lockers to drop our stuff off. The only thing I had left with me was my phone and we headed to the trampolines.

After 20 minutes of jumping, I noticed this little girl come up to Ava and Alexis complimenting them. I thought it was sweet so there was no need to intervene. "Come on Quo you're too far." A little boy came informing the little girl. "Wait Eli, I'm talking to my new friends." She replied to the little boy Eli. "I don't know which is which yet but Ava and Alexis this is my cousin Elias." The little boy hides behind Quo. "Hi I'm Ava and this is my sister Alexis!" Ava smiles and Alexis waves at the boy.

"Sequoia you're too far, I tried to tell you." A girl who looks near my age comes over. We're just in the seating area because we decided to take a break. "I'm sorry Lia but I was talking to my new friends. Can we stay with them please?" She convincingly looks at the older girl."That is fine with me but you know you have to listen and stay nearby." She explains to her, "Yet it's not up to me, it's up to her because they are with her." She points to me causing Sequoia to walk over to me. 

"Is it okay if I hang out with them?" She nicely asks. "Yes that's fine with me, we're just taking a break." She smiles from ear to ear and runs over to Lia telling her that I said it was okay, even though Lia is like two feet away. 

"Okay well you heard her, they're taking a break." She reminds her and Sequoia said it was fine and took a seat next to my sisters right along with Elias. "Nice to meet you, I'm Aurelia." The girl says to me while she taking a seat. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Heaven. I really like your name." I compliment. "Thank you," she smiles, "So these are your sisters?" She points to Ava and Alexis. "Yep. My mom just adopted them and we got introduced to them on Friday." I explain causing Aurelia to nod her head. "Wow that's cool, you got any other siblings?" She asks.

"Yeah I have a twin sister and a younger brother who's 14." I answer. "Are they your siblings?" She shakes her head. "No, Sequoia is my little cousin and Elias is my son." I was taken back a little. Son? "Yes I know it's shocking, but yes he is my son. My family was not happy to hear that but most were supportive so it all worked out." She expressed to me, I never thought I would personally meet a teen mom. "Oh okay, it just caught me off guard a little." She chuckles, "Yeah it catches everyone off guard to be honest. Some people give me dirty looks and all." Damn that's sad. You never know someone's story as to why they had a kid at a young age. 

"See that's just rude, sorry if I made you uncomfortable." I apologize, I don't want her to feel as if I'm judging her in any way. "No you're fine, I can tell it just shocked you. How old are you?" She switches the subject. "I just turned 16, you?" I go along. Why continue a conversation about her kid? That's just nosey. I am nosey but if it's simply none of my business I'll stay out of it. Simple.

"Oh I'm 15, I turn 16 next month. Libras do it the best!" I look at her like she's crazy, "Yeah you're buggin, we're called virgoats for a reason." She playfully rolls her eyes. 

"Okay can we go play now?" We both nod our heads and they all run off. "So you from Toronto?" I ask while we head to the trampolines. "Nope. My cousin's family moved here for the great benefits, that's who I stay with by the way. I'm from North Carolina." I nod. 

"Oh okay, I'm from Jersey but moved damn near everywhere. I have lived out here before though." I explain. "Damn girl, you guys were outside for real." We slightly laughed. "No for real but I think we're done moving." She nods. 

"Well that's good. How you like it here so far?" I ask while we both take a seat on the benches. "It's actually really nice and chill, I could see me living out here in the future. When did you move out here?" She asks. "In June and been chilling ever since. You got instagram?" She seems cool and I could see us being friends in the long run. 

"Yeah." We both took out our phone and typed in each other's instagrams on our phones. "Oh shoot, you know Q?" She asks seeing that he follows me. "I just met him yesterday, is there any issues?" She isn't from here so I know it has to be something. 

"Nah he's my cousin, Sequoia's older brother, that's a crazy coincidence." A wave of relief takes over. "Girl you had me nervous but yeah he asked for help to buy his little cousin something. I'm guessing you're the cousin he was referring to." I chuckle. "Ohhhh so you're the pretty girl he met yesterday, I tried to ask him to show me but he wasn't going for that." She laughs along, "What did he get me though?" She makes the 'new moon face emoji' face while looking at me.

"Girl I'm not telling you." She sighs, "See and I thought we'd be good friends, now we're not." She turns the other way and I laugh nudging her. "I'm not your friend anymore." She says like a toddler causing me to laugh even more.

"Yo you're funny as fuck." I slowly stopped laughing. "Anyway how'd you get here?" She turns back to me. "I thought you weren't my friend anymore." I slightly laugh again. "Girl that was so 30 seconds ago move on." She playfully rolls her eyes. "I took an Uber, you?" I ask. "Q dropped me off, when we leave you can tell your man "bye" and shit." Delu.

"That boy is not my man." I say. "Yet," She replies. "Anyway you tryna go jump with the kids?" She quickly changes the subject. "We gon talk about that later but sure." We start making our way to the trampolines. I like Aurelia she fits my vibe, gotta tell gang about her later.
