It was officially Monday again, hate it here. I'll forever not like Mondays because it's the most gloomiest day of the week and it coincidentally was raining today. I didn't feel like getting up to go to school but my teachers expressed we were going to be given projects. I'm already working on one in history but now I'm going to have one for english, math, and biology. Four projects are crazy!

Anyway I was getting ready and contemplating if I should ask to stay home. If I knew what we had to do for the projects then I would've just stayed but since I don't then I can thug it out. I didn't feel like dressing up too cute so I went with something regular. My hair was going to poof up from the humidity but I was tired of having it straight anyway.

I put it in a puff and kept it pushing, it's Monday.

"Good morning, everyone! Today, we have an exciting writing project lined up. Remember the creative writing prompts we worked on last week? In one of those, you imagined yourselves in your dream careers and wrote about your experiences. We're going to build on that idea today.

For today's assignment, you'll be writing letters to your future selves—specifically, to yourselves at age 30. I want you to reflect on your current goals, challenges, and dreams. Think about where you are now and where you hope to be in the future. Consider the growth you want to achieve and the milestones you aim to reach.

As you write, be honest with yourselves. What do you want to accomplish by the time you're 30? What kind of person do you hope to become? This is your chance to capture your aspirations and hopes on paper. Take your time and really think about these questions. This letter is a personal message to your future self, so make it meaningful. Let's get started!" Mrs. O'Donnell said as she walks to her desk.

She pulled up an example for us from one of her former students and we all got started. Okay so this project isn't that bad, I wonder what my other classes have for us. I started thinking of what career I truly wanted. Maybe a therapist?

I know I said I wasn't one when Myles came over ranting but I feel as if I always am helping everyone with their problems and listening to them. Last week I chose an author but if I were to do that then I'd do it on the side. I guess I'll look up therapist and see where that takes me.

History... one of my least favorites. I'm sure we all know this, we're still working on the same thing. Luckily Kat is back so I have someone to talk to. "Hey queen." She says as I sit down next her to. "Hey crazy" She looked at me and laughed quietly. "Not "hey crazy" how I get that nickname?" She gives me this "gurllll" look.

"Cause yo ass is crazy, trying kill bitches and shit." She holds in her laugh due to a silent classroom. She laughing like I'm not deadass.

"Girl you so funny. Anyway what have you done for the project?" Now she wanna switch the topic. Mind as well fill her in so she gets an understanding since she wasn't here.

Math time and I'm with my favorite homeboy Myles. I mean he's basically my only one because I'm not that close with the other ones but you know what I mean.

"Hello everyone,

Today, we're diving into a project that will give you hands-on experience with statistics and data analysis. You'll be designing and conducting a survey on a topic of your choice. This project will help you understand how to collect data, analyze it, and draw meaningful conclusions from it.

Here's how it will work: First, you'll decide on a question or topic that interests you. Next, you'll create a survey to gather responses from your peers. Once you have your data, you'll use statistical methods to analyze it, identify trends, and present your findings.

The goal of this project is to not only practice statistical techniques but also to gain insight into how data can be used to make informed decisions. I'm excited to see what questions you come up with and how you'll interpret the results. Let's get started and make this a fun and insightful experience!" He starts handing out papers and told us that was okay if we worked as partners.

"So what do you want to collect data on?" I ask Myles. "I don't know to be honest." He raises his hand. "May we get examples of data we can collect please?" This boy code switches like a motherfucker.

"Sure thing Myles! Study habits, sleep patterns, extracurricular activities. I remember you telling you that you wanted to try out for the basketball team. That may be a good one for you!" He suggests.

"Yes sir I did inform you on that. It's just I was going to work with Heaven. Can we get more examples?" He looks at me and nodded.

"Perfectly fine. What about favorite school subjects, use of technology, diet and nutrition, fitness and exercise, travel and commute, social media usage.." I then cut him off.

"Oh I'm sorry for cutting you off but I think I want to do social media usage. Us teenagers stay on our phones and social media especially. Maybe we can incorporate some use of technology because it correlates." I say to him causing him to take in what I said.

"I like that idea Heaven! Sounds like you two are going to have a great project. You two can go ahead and get started." He smiles and walks away. Now we just have to collect data from our peers.

Lunch time! Definitely going to get some Wingstop! Zianna and I have been talking about it all day.

Zianna be picky so she likes Wingstop but some days she don't be beat for it. Anyway we were in line just damn near dreaming about it because that's all we could talk about.

I can't handle any spice so I was going to get half lemon pepper and half garlic parm. It's not my fault though, nobody built up my spice tolerance.

Anywho once we got our food we headed to the table and sat down. It lowkey caught me off guard because crazy was talking to Finn. The only issue with this was that Alyssa was at the table with them.

Everyone else coincidentally got their food and was heading over almost near the same time and we all looked at each other with the same confused looks. "Uh what's going on?"Rose asked while taking a seat. Zi and I were already sat because our table just so happens to be the hotspot so we get front row seats to everything.

"Someone's just getting bold like I won't beat their ass for a second time" Kat started to put her hair into a ponytail. "Yeah no we aren't doing this so run along because she really knows how to fight!" Millie emphasizes while sitting down.

"Of course it's because you're scared" Alyssa struts away while winking at Finn. Huh? Last time I checked Alyssa was damn near about to ended up on CNN. Kat wasn't fazed by her though, it gave she was ready to beat her ass again.

"What type of friend are you? Just going to watch everything happen huh?" Kat looks at Finn along with the rest of us.

"I didn't know what to do but I knew she wasn't going to do shit. So I sat back and watched things happen, I wouldn't actually allow that to happen." Finn says in his defense. I meannnn he ain't lying.

"Okay whatever you say, I'm not even hungry anymore. I'll just be right back to take a walk." She'll be ighh. There was literally no point in chasing her because she was probably just having a mini temper tantrum.
