emily pov

damn it emily! so stupid!

i called alison for the 13th time.

"hey this is alison. i can't get to the phone right now but if you leave your name i'll get back to you as soon as i can. thanks bye."

BEEP

i sighed, "ali. it's me...again. look i'm so sorry about lying. i just didn't want you to get hurt or anything. babe please forgive me. i love you so so so so much. please alison."

i groaned and put my phone back down.

i grabbed my jacket and drove to spencer's.

i walked into the house.

"hey i thought you were with ali?" aria said.

"no. she dumped me." i said and slumped on the couch.

"WHAT?!" they all yelled and ran over.

"what do you mean?" hanna asked.

i sighed, "we got into a fight again. she knows i lied to her...we did. she is pissed at all of us."

they all groaned, "great. school should be fun."

i scoffed, "yep."

spencer sighed, "well we found more stuff when you were gone. the girl theory? we think you're right em. because on the cameras we found more pictures and A went to a car. we found the license plate and we tracked it down to a location. it's in brookhaven." spencer said.

 "okay...let's just talk about this later. i want to sleep. can i stay here?" i asked spencer.

"yeah sure."

i nodded and layed down on the bed and fell asleep right away.

next day

i walked into school with the girls and caleb.

i was wearing my sharks Letterman jacket that came with making the basketball team.

spencer and caleb were too and aria and hanna were wearing their cheer uniforms.

i looked down the hall.

"alison!" i shouted.

she looked at us and scoffed, starting to walk away.

i ran over and grabbed her arm, "babe. please talk to me. i did this to protect you. if you found out then you'd want to help and-"

"emily? i really don't have time for this. i have class." she said and tried to walk away but i grabbed her hand, "alison please. i love you."

she sighed, "you lied to me emily. again." she said.

"but it was only to protect you alison."

she scoffed and her eyes teared up, "emily you said that last time." 

"ali this is different. we're working against A this time."

she sighed, "i got to go em." she said as the bell rang.

"ali we have english together!" i shouted and followed her and sat down.

during classes i fiddled with my pencil and stared at alison the whole time, who wouldn't even look at me.

right now i'm in science. before lunch.
