Chapter 172

Emily POV

When we were told Karma was up we all went inside and she looked horrible. She has a brace around her neck and her eyes are purple around them, her skin pale. "Karma. I know you can't talk but we need you to tell us who A is sweetheart. Victoria said you knew." I spoke to her with a welcoming and calm voice.

Karma whimpered, "I-i...I don't r-remember," she choked out and I felt my heart fall. We were so fucking close! I stood up and sighed, running my hand through my hair. "Babe." Ali walked over to me and rubbed my arm, "you alright?"

I shut my eyes and shook my head. "No. No Alison I'm not alright. This is high school all over again but now this monster is after out kids!" The door then opened and Skylar walked in, "knock knock."

She smiled lightly at Karma, "I got you your fave." She handed Karma coffee and Brooke sighed, "she can't drink anything."

"Oh. Right I forgot. My bad Karm," she said and I noticed how Karma's expression looked nervous. But why was she nervous about Skylar being in the same room unless...no. No way. Unless Skylar was A! But what's her motive? Well Cameron was A...and then the kids said that another A killed him. It had to be Skylar...and when I was A I tried killing Mona...she was blackmailed into being A. She must've lost control and wanted more. But what was she blackmailed for? I know that I was blackmailed using Alison. Was it for Karma? No cause if it was Karma then Skylar wouldn't have almost killed her...I looked at Skylar and saw her sit next to Victoria. I noticed something that caught me by surprise. Behind their chairs they were holding hands? Wait a minute...

"Alison...can I talk to you? Outside." I yanked her our of the room and she chuckled, "hospital sex Em? Little disrespectful don't you think? Eh...hell I'm up for it." I smiled slightly but then shook my head, "no. Are Skylar and Victoria together? Look at them," I said and pointed. Alison's face went white and she said, "how did you...um w-why would you think that?"

I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arms, "alright so...you knew? And didn't tell me?"

She chuckled nervously, "what? Why would you think that?"

"Because you're acting awkward. Spill."

Alison groaned and said, "fine. I found out when Victoria was gone. I saw Skylar at the kissing rock, Em. She said how special Victoria was to her and said all of these things. They're just like us. Before you freak out just think about how scared they are. Well for one, Victoria is gay. Or bi so she must be scared as hell and they are supposed to be cousins but they're not really even related at all. Skylar's dad is Caleb and Hanna isn't actually related to me so it's not even that bad. They're in love."

I chuckled, "I'm not mad that they are together...but Skylar is A Al."

Alison stared at me and then burst out into laughter. "What?! Babe I love you but that's impossible."

I explained to her everything and the looks between her and Karma and when I was done Alison's eyes were wide. "Oh my god...but...what about Victoria? She'll be broken Emily. And Skylar...she killed people!" I nodded, "I know. Babe I know. But I can't take her in unless there's real, raw evidence of her as A."

We talked about what to do and Alison walked us back in. We stayed with Karma and I didn't leave her even when her parents were here. They wouldn't do much though. They are too busy being the weirdest hippies I've ever met. But I have always liked them. They're nice to be around.
