Louisiana Showdown (an X-men Evolution fan-fic)

Chapter 5

Gambit and Wolverine had just arrived back at the Institute. The two went inside and told

the Professor what they had found out. He nodded and told them that he could not locate

Rogue with Cerebro. She had not used her powers yet.

"So what should we do to find her, Chuck?" Logan asked.

"I'm not quite sure, Logan," the Professor said, folding his hands.

There was silence for a moment before Gambit spoke up.

"We could try Louisiana. That was where we were last time Julien kidnapped someone

and it is possible that he is back at the bayou."

The Professor and Wolverine looked at each other.

"That is a possibility, Gambit," Professor Xavier said. "If Julien has brought Rogue back

to Louisiana, then we might be able to go and find her. Logan, I want you to go find Hank. We

might need him and Gambit prep the Black Bird. We are going to Louisiana."

The two men rushed out of the room to do the tasks they were instructed to do. Gambit

rushed to the elevator and the doors opened. He walked in and pressed the button

labeled "Hanger."

When the doors opened again, he could see the Black Bird. The rap lowered and he

went in and started the engine. When he looked out the window, Gambit could see Logan,

Hank, and Professor X approaching the jet. When they were all in, they buckled up and flew off

to Louisiana to find Rogue.
