RAY'S EYES WIDENED as they landed on her. But she didn't notice him. Not yet.
Emma quickly threw a flash bomb at Leuvis, temporarily blinding him.
Astoria's head was spinning and she felt like she could pass out at any minute, but she didn't. She knew she had to be okay to kill Leuvis.
Another shot rang out, which caught Astoria's attention. It broke Leuvis' mask.
She looked up and her eyes instantly landed on Ray, who couldn't take his eyes off of her for one second.
"Ray.." She whispered to herself as tears filled her eyes.
"Astoria, I know your lover boy is here but right now, focus on Leuvis." Pepe told her as he fired his gun.
Astoria looked at Pepe and cut him the most deathly look known to man.
She then turned around and pulled the trigger on Leuvis more times that she could count.
Stop his movements.
No matter how fast an opponent is, they can't move freely if they're blinded.
And an intense flash of light at close range won't just take away their sight. It'll mess with a bunch of their senses too.
It'll be light taking a direct hit to the brain.
Astoria watched as Leuvis stumbled back, clearly dazed.
It's working, of course it would.
He lost his mask and was hit by the flash bomb up close.
We've completely stopped his movements.
This allows us to aim for his eye.
