In an unknown location,a figure sat on a sofa, leaning against the backrest. The figure can't be seen, almost like they're hiding in the shadows. You can't tell if it's a man or a woman either.

“Sir”. Someone bowed addressing the figure which though it doesn't confirm their identity, it at least revealed the gender of the shadowed person.

“It’s public knowledge now”. He stated quietly, almost inaudible as if addressing himself.
“Yes Sir”. The person before him affirmed and he hummed, looking deep in thought.
“Seventeen getting involved is what I certainly didn't expect, they've been laying dormant for years after all so I hadn't foreseen their interference”. The rhythmical tapping of his middle and index fingers revealing nothing of his thoughts.
“What will you do now sir?”. The person asked softly, tentatively, afraid of saying something out of line.
“Hmm, what will I do?, what do you think I should do?”. He asked instead and the person questioned broke out in cold sweat, suddenly feeling apprehensive.
“I-I-I don't know sir”. He bowed, very lowly, frightened about the possibility of an incoming punishment, the man before him is very unpredictable.
“Don’t know”. He hummed again,“It’s expected, even I don't know what to do”, nodding his head repeatedly, his entire demeanor portraying the perfect illusion of calm, collected and in control but really, since seventeen’s elite team decided to take up the investigation, nothing is under his control anymore. He's well aware that it's just a matter of time before his cover blows, he won't go down alone though, that's unthinkable. Someone will have to go down with him, it's just, that he haven't decided who,yet.

“Sir, someone's here”. Someone came in and reported before going forward to whisper something into his ear. His eyes flickered and he sneered inwardly.
“Fucking bastard”.
“Should I send him on a merry go ride,sir?”. The one who just reported the arrival of the visitor suggested,an evil grin that hinted deeply at his heinous intentions.
“The world will shake if anything were to happen to him. Say what?, I'll meet him,take me to where he is”. He demanded and the messenger was left with no choice but to take him to see the visitor.

“To what honour do I deserve this visit,Kun?”. He exclaimed once he's within earshot and is completely sure of being heard.
The man’s lips curved quite visibly in a display of a smirk. His face cold, despite the curve of his small lips, his expression betraying no emotion whatsoever. You can't tell if he's a friend or an enemy.
This man, happens to be Cai XuKun. One of China's biggest politician and business mogul. Very notorious for anonymously running multiple underground dens which are widely known for illegal dealings in arms. A rumoured drug cartel. What is such an entity looking for in the abode of this shadowed person.
“I am here to propose a deal to you”. Kun remarked, situating himself comfortably on the couch in the open space.
The owner of the house, who's also the owner of the couch, narrowed his eyes at the act but said nothing to address it, instead he tilted his head,
“Oh?”.
“I know you're just as anxious as everyone else regarding seventeen’s declaration a few weeks ago. You must also know that they've put it into action. A lot of people in Stray City have lost their means of livelihood because of S.Coup’s madness”. Kun analysed but the man simply scoffed saying “And what does all this have to do with me?”.
Kun smiled softly, suddenly feeling elated “A little rattle birdie tattled to me that seventeen have initiated a hunt for Abaddon’s impersonator”. His gaze pierced through him, searching for a crack that is nonexistent.
“So?”.
“Aren’t you anxious at all?, I'm a little anxious for you. Imagine what will happen when they find out it's you”. He wondered, his eyes squinting in contemplation. His white pale skin glinting due to the presence of heat.
The mysterious man clenched his fists tightly. He didn't realise his cover have been blown so soon. Seventeen will soon be on his tail but making any kind of collaboration with this person could result in disaster. Cai XuKun is not someone that can be messed with. He have zero tolerance for mischief. The man is calculating, articulate and equally viscous which is a trait that can usually be exhibited by those at the highest level of competency. Someone that have dealt with his father and remains unscathed is to be feared.
“What’s your deal?”. He finally concedes, needing to hear what he will say.
“I’m almost disappointed”. Kun sighed and the man stared at him in confusion “huh?”.
“Nobody seems curious as to why all this is happening. Why out of the blue, seventeen decides to be active again?that too, after being dormant for several years. Why after re-establishing their active status, the first ground breaking thing they did, is to practically declare war on nearly forty percent of Stray City's inhabitants?,no explanations, no prior warnings. Don't you sometimes wonder why this is the case?, don't you think it's weird as well?. It's almost like they're in a hurry to cover something, something they don't want anyone to know about and it's definitely something dangerous. But whatever it is, I must find out and I'll need your help with it. You don't need to do much, just do as I say and very soon what everyone will be talking about won't be Abaddon's impersonator this, Abaddon's impersonator that. So what say you?”. Kun glanced at him, patiently waiting for his response.
The man just stared at him in horror, he looked crazed when he was raving about the happenings in Stray City. He's genuinely scared for his life at this point but there's no going back. If he doesn't accept Kun’s offer,no one knows what the politician will do.
“Whatever. And before I forget Xiao Zhan is out to get you for whatever reason”. The shadowed man supplied, almost practically quaking in his own house.
