Last One Bites the Dust.

Chapter Eleven

Trevor woke up the next day and stretched, he had had a horrible night last night and wished that he hadn't dreamed at all. Nothing but nightmares, and so many of them too. 'Sigh, I wonder if Alex is already downstairs eating breakfast, I hope he saved me a bowl of cereal. If he had the last of the lucky charms I may just hit him,' he thought to himself and got up to take a shower. As he crawled out of bed he noticed that there was a slip of paper on Alex's side of the bed and smiled thinking that it was a romantic morning greeting, he picked it up and opened it to read. However his grin quickly turned into a frown and he started shaking.

"Dear Trevor,

          I left with Caleb, I don't know if I'll ever be back, I'm sorry for hurting you but he was threatening to hurt you and our friends and I just couldn't risk you guys like that. I would never forgive myself if one of you ever got hurt. I love you, I fell in love with and it pains me to write this while you sleep because it means I couldn't give you a good bye kiss. I will miss you now and forever. Please don't ever think I did this easily because this was the hardest thing I have ever done.

Light and Dark will  fight but through it all I will find you forever.

I love you forever and always.

Alex."

When Trevor finished reading it he screamed, he screamed and screamed, he didn't know what else to do. Rose came running into Alex's room.

"What? What is it? What's wrong?" She said frantically, Trevor just pointed to the letter that he had thrown across the bed. She walked over to the letter and picked it up to read it. Halfway through the letter she fell on the bed shaking her head and lifting her hand to her mouth, "No, not my baby," She said not believing what she read.

"Trevor, please tell me this is just a joke, please tell me that you and Alex are just trying to play a joke on me," Trevor shook his head, tears running down his face.

"No, not my baby, please Lord not my baby," she repeated and started crying herself before she grabbed her phone and dialed the police.

"911, What is your emergency?" The dispatcher said over the phone.

"Hello? My son has been kidnapped by his ex-boyfriend!"

"Calm down ma'am, we are dispatching an officer to your area, please remain calm as they are on their way."

"Please hurry," She yelled before hanging up.

"The police are on their way, oh my baby, please be alright," She said to herself trying to keep herself calm, she couldn't flip out right now.

It took about ten minutes, but soon there was an officer pulling up and walking to the door, he knocked on the door. Rose quickly pulled the door open, "911 we got an emergency call that your son was kidnapped ma'am," She nodded and let him into the house. He began asking her the details about him and than began asking questions about Caleb. When he had finished asking her questions about everything he tipped his hat before promising to set up a report right away and drove off.

"That's it?" Trevor asked and Rose nodded.

"Now we hope the police can find him before it's too late," She said, tears rolling down her face and it angered him.

"WE JUST HOPE THEY CAN FIND HIM?" He began screaming, he didn't mean to start yelling at her, but he was having a panic attack and he didn't know what to do.

He stormed back to his room before calling Areia and Jacob.

"Hello?" Areia said picking up and Trevor filled her in, he was still crying and she could barely understand what he was saying but was able to register ninety-nine percent of what he told her.

"Oh my God," She screamed before yelling that her, Jason, Brittany and two other of Alex's old friends would be there as soon as possible. When they got off the phone he called his Maria and telling her the same thing as he had told Areia she promised to be there with John as soon as she could.

After an hour Areia knocked on the door and Trevor rushed to open it, she stepped in and four other people followed in after her. "Trevor, this is Lily and her boyfriend Kyle," She told him introducing the two newcomers.

"Nice to meet you," Lily said, "I wish we had met under better circumstances," Trevor nodded before they all walked in to the living room where Maria and John were waiting.

"Now tell us again, What happened?" Areia said, Trevor nodded once more and grabbed Alex letter reading it out loud, As he read he saw everyone's eye bulge out of  their heads and Brittany started to tear up.

"Well what are we supposed to do?" Kyle asked, a couple of the other nodding showing they agreed and Trevor looked at the all.

"I think we can find him," Trevor told them.

"How?" Jacob asked this time.

"Well you guys know him, can't you think about where he would go?" Maria asked.

They all jumped when the door bell rang and they all ran to the door. They threw it open and saw no one there, they were about to shut the door when they noticed there was a piece of paper taped to the door.

Lily was the one to grab it and read it out loud.

"Hello Trevor and Company,

          I want to play a little game, If you can follow my rules and listen to my directions I will give Alex back and turn myself in. If not than I keep Alex and you must give up your search, or you'll be dead, I haven't decided yet.

Your first clue will arrive in two hours so keep your eyes open,

Your best friend Caleb."

Trevor grew angry after Lily was finished reading.

"This fucker is trying to PLAY with us! Oh when I see him I am going to murder that mother fucker." He said and everyone agreed. They knew they couldn't do anything but wait for the first clue and it frustrated the hell out of them.
