Marnie truly loved summer. It was her second favourite time of the year – autumn was first because that was Red (Taylor's Version) season. She loved going on holiday, she loved the beach, she loved the sun, she loved ice-cream and tanning and spending all day reading.
She especially loved being able to hang out with Lando whenever she wanted without a camera being shoved in her face.
The two had been basically inseparable since their date, only leaving each other's side at night and whenever their other friends forced them apart because they wanted to hang out with them – mainly Lily and Alex with Marnie because they were not about to let Lando Norris steal their best friend.
Marnie was enjoying just being with him, without people commenting on everything they did. It was refreshing, it made her actually want to be a part of the formula one scene. Lando was a risk, and she was willing to take it.
She was invested and the thought scared her so much. She was scared of how big her feelings were – it was too soon to tell him she loved him so why did she want to scream it from the rooftops so much. God, she needed to pull herself together, he wasn't even officially her boyfriend yet, Jesus.
