Guys! Just to let you know that the stories are credit to Rick Riordan. All I own is Winter Solace and her story. This is still not yet Mark of Athena, it's still The Lost Hero here, before their field trip. Probably(note that), the fourth chapter will be the start of The Mark of Athena's fan fiction. And also, I'm placing a lot of plot twists.
Chapter_2
Winter's POV
"Do you even know how to drive?" I asked as Leo sat on the driving seat.
"Haven't tried it." The engine roared to life.
My eyes widened. "Don't drive." But it was too late
But to my actual surprise, Leo drove smoothly like a professional. I gotta admit, he's better than me.
"Where first?" Jason asked.
"Dairy Cream!" Leo exclaimed.
"Okay then." Piper said.
While I sat there, a little confused. Why am I letting these people use my car? Nobody human would do that.
What if you're not human?
Haha no. Last time I checked, I was human.
Leo hastily parked in the parking lot, shut the engine and placed the keys on my hand, which I realized was open.
I got off the car and caught up on them. I remembered that the car isn't locked so I pushed my thumb on the lock button of the remote in the keychain.

We ate our own ice cream as they told stories making me listen.
"See this scar on my lip?" Jason pointed at his upper lip which had a little scar. "I ate a stapler when I was young."
"That's sweet!" Leo chuckled. "Baby Jason eating a stapler."
I wasn't that much of a talkative girl so I stayed silent, not knowing what to say. You could actually call it Peer pressure. I'm careful of what I say so they won't hate me.
"Come on Winter. At least say something." Piper suggested.
"It's just that... I don't know what to say." I but my lip. "I'm kind of socially awkward."
"No. It's okay." Jason said. "We are more down to earth than you think." I think Jason is the kindest among them, Leo being the funny dude while Piper being the sweet one. Which makes me be the socially awkward one.
"Oh. It's just... It's just that I've never have friends before and I don't want to screw this up." I put my lips on a thin line.
"I understand." Piper held my hand. I was tense from the contact but relaxed after two seconds. "Let's just have some fun."
"Of course..." I smiled. "Fun." That word didn't seem familiar anymore especially since my mother's dead, my father left us while I have a brother whom I don't even know the appearance.
Yeah. My life's great.
"Let's go back to the car." Leo suggested when we were all done eating ice cream.
"Next stop is Starbucks." Piper replied with a wide a grin.
"You're gonna make me fat." I pouted looking at my tummy.
"Nah. You'll still look beautiful anyway." She complimented.
"Thanks." I replied with a small smile.
"Are we going or not? Coz Uncle Leo is craving for a Starbucks coffee." Leo interrupted, licking his lips.
"Yeah." Jason put his arm around Piper's shoulders. "Me too."
