What is the inspiration to this book?
-Well I am an avid fan of THE WALKING DEAD! I've always been! So that's the catalyst why I started this story. That was the first inspiration, there's more! You know that my other books always contained fluff and all sweets but then along the way, I got inspired by THE LAST OF US, by Ellie! That's when I decided, why don't I make Baekhyun a badass b*tch, oops I went too far. I meant a sarcastic mouth hahaha. Then finally, I got inspired by RESIDENT EVIL! The series are so freaking cool I had to adapt some from it. Hehe including the monsters.
What do you love about the story?
- I love how they have different personalities! I still imagine Luhan as a weakling in the beginning of the story and then ended up being a freaking badass with his rifle! I am so proud of him! Also, I liked how subtle and more on slow burn Baekhyun and Chanyeol had developed!
Why didn't you put Rated Scenes in this book?
-Well, as you know me (most probably don't) that I wrote bed scenes on my other books and it was so crazy! It was funny because the reads of those rated chapters are doubled the other chapters.(Smut readers, I see you🤣) But in here, you've noticed subtle intimacies because I don't want to balance it with romance and apocalypse genre. (Wait for extra chapters, I may or may not publish a bed scene *wink* *wink*)
Why do you think Z APOCALYPSE is interesting?
- Because Chanbaek World is already full of romance fic! The typical Baekhyun is so shy and innocent while Chanyeol is there to save the day and is soooooo overated! I decided I'd try gore and bloodbath scenes where Baekhyun is a bad ass and Chanyeol is just mehhh normal being haha!
What are Baekhyun's abilities?
-There are more! What I know is that he healed so fast from the bites. He can communicate with the monster. More like he acquired the monsters strengths. Maybe he'll have more soon! We might or might not find that out in the extras. Hehehe
