luke:

I had spent all weekend with Calum and I was looking forward to school that morning, hoping Michael had settled in enough that he would speak to me.

Calum was currently getting ready for school at my house, (something we often did since he lived two houses down) and wanted to hang out before the day started.

I pulled on my red flannel and we left, Calum taking a chocolate bar from the kitchen table thinking I didn't notice.

We got to school about 15 minutes before bells were due to go, our first class was maths with Michael and I was scanning the hallway for him. I spotted him nearing the English block doors, the same place I'd chased him down to on his second day.

I immediately went after him, Calum pulling me behind. "WHAT?" I asked urgently facing him.

"Luke you need to stop forcing him to talk to you, he obviously finds it difficult." he advised me.

"What are you talking about? He's just being rude," I rolled my eyes and jogged towards the English doors.

I found him walking the corridor of English though his back was facing me and I think he had ear buds in because he was singing quietly as he paced the floor.

"Don't make this easy I want you to mean it, Jasey.

Say you'll mean it.

You're dressed to kill, I'm calling you out,

don't waste your time on me."

I recognised the All Time Low tune immediately and stood watching him, which was alright, until he turned around to walk back the other way. He froze, ripping the earphones out and stuffing them in his pocket. He started fidgeting with his phone immediately and tried to walk past me to get out.

"Stop." I huffed, blocking him from leaving.

He got more and more stressed, trying to move me out the way but I wouldn't budge. I just started walking him into a corner, and he ran out of steps to take as his back hit the wall. He looked terrified.

"I just want to talk to you." I said slightly angry which wasn't a good idea.

He shook his head vigorously. He tried to push past me again so I grabbed his shoulders to keep him in place. He seemed to completely break down at that moment, shaking a lot and turning powder white, sinking to the floor.

I began to panic, what did I do? Then Calum- who I wasn't even aware followed me- shoved me out the English doors.

"I'll see you first period." He sighed. "Just go talk to the lads for a bit yeah?" He asked me and I hung my head, nodding and slowly left Calum alone with him.

I didn't know what Calum was planning on but no doubt I wanted to know. For once though I listened to him and left the area completely.
