"Pete, the point is to not set them off at all." Tartarus said."I could have fried the—what are they called?"
"Circuits?" I supplied Thor.
"If you did that, there wouldn't have been a point to this team exercise! Now focus!" Steve called just before getting knocked out by a stunning beam from one of the mounted guns.
"So, isn't Tartarus Greek hell or something?" Tony said once we were all finally relaxing in the common area after our training.
"Tony!" Steve admonished.
"Yeah, Tony!" Tartarus said in an offended tone.
I gave my brother a weird look. "Tartarus, you are Greek hell."
He pouted. "You never let me have any fun."
"The last time I let you have fun, you helped create a rebellious group of teenagers against a tyrannical government without me."
"I had nothing to do with that. I was just along for the ride."
"What is it you do, Tartarus?" Natasha interrupted.
"I house the monsters that hunt down those in Percy's domain."
"That sounds terrible when you put it that way." I snickered.
The Avengers stared wide eyed at us both.
"What?" Tartarus asked. "Someone's got to. And I'd rather it be me than any of our other siblings."
"Yeah, Gaea still hates me."
"Still? It's been centuries!" Tartarus said.
"I went to visit just fifty years ago and she tried attacking me with her earthborn." I pouted.
"She's just jealous that even though you were the weakest out of all of us when you were born, you ended up Father's heir and the strongest out of all of us." Tartarus comforted me with a pat on my shoulder. "She might get over it."
"Tartarus!" A loud pop accompanied by Dad's shout had half of the Avengers out of their seats from shock. Tartarus and I were used to Dad's antics and didn't even flinch. Natasha's hand went to her gun (the most reaction I've gotten out of her), and Bruce turned into the Hulk, with his head in the ceiling.
Thor only flinched a little, so used to people flashing in his presence randomly. Clint almost landed on his head with his butt high in the air. Peter landed on the ceiling in the corner. Tony dropped his whiskey—or whatever he was drinking—and dropped out of his chair.
"Dad, come through the door next time, will you?" I asked.
He frowned. "Why?"
Tartarus and I gestured to the Avengers, frozen in their shock. "Oh. Well, never mind that, I need T."
"Why?" Tartarus asked, ignoring the nickname.
"There's a monster causing me problems on the jail planet." Chaos said sheepishly.
"And why can't you deal with it yourself?" My brother asked as the Avengers slowly put themselves to rights while obviously listening intently.
"You told me to tell you the next time I was headed there."
"Does it have to be now?" Tartarus groaned at Chaos' nod. "Fiiiiinnnnnnee."
"I ask you to do one thing for me and you get huffy." Chaos put his hands on his hips.
