Akshu's POV
[ONE HOUR AGO]
"Bhaiya, how's the dress?" I asked, looking around and pointing at the dress. Bhaiya twitched his lips in response.
"How come you'll walk in this long dress?" I scoffed at him, and he chuckled.
"Bhaiya..." I whined, and he laughed at me.
"You'll look good in everything you wear," he said, wrapping his arm around me in a hug. I grinned.
"Bhaiya..." I looked at him. "Hmmm!"
He looked at me for a second, then shook his head. "Is something bothering you?" he asked, his expression concerned.
"I'm fine," he said, hugging me and softly kissing my temple. I sighed, hoping he was telling the truth. I wanted my family to stay safe and happy. I just wanted my brother and sister at my wedding.
"What will you wear?" I asked, breaking the hug.
"Don't say anything in grey or white again," I huffed at him, and he grinned softly.
"Then, I don't know," he shrugged, and I huffed.
"Ishu already decided; she just told me to pass these outfits to you all," I said, handing him and Eric their outfits.
"Won't you check?" I asked Eric, who looked at me for a fraction of a second before shaking his head and looking back at the two girls who came for the dress delivery and fittings.
"I trust Little One's choices," Eric muttered, waving at Max. She nodded and looked away, and I sighed.
"Can you stop eye-fucking her?" I chided, seeing my friends walk in.
"All your dresses are right there with Max," I told them, and they nodded, going to check their fittings.
"Stop making her nervous, Ric," I groaned, and Eric snorted.
"I'm not looking at Max," he hissed back.
"Don't look at anyone, then," Kunal Bhai retorted, sulking.
"You guys are spoilsports," he said, standing up.
"Ayee! Hi, Sweet Lady," Kunal Bhai greeted Arshi DI, who smiled softly at him. I walked towards her, but my eyes halted on Bhaiya, who looked furious, glaring at Eric with dagger eyes. Eric, however, gave a teasing, provoking smile.
What's going on?
"DI, it's your dress; come let's check," I said, holding her hand and taking her to my room.
"You change; I'll be back in minutes. I need to give the dresses to others," I said, and she nodded.
"Be careful; don't run," she shouted from the room as I ran down the stairs, seeing Kunal Bhai and Dad.
"Your outfits," I grinned at Kunal Bhai's beaming face as he loved the burgundy color of his suit.
"Perfect," he muttered, and I chuckled.
"Dad, your outfit is in your room," I said, and he nodded in silence.
I sighed. "Dad, don't be sad like this. I don't like this dull face of yours."
I linked my arm with his, and he took a sharp breath, hugging me, making my eyes tear up.
"I'll be alright," he muttered, and I hugged him tight.
