The moment hung in the air like a heavy fog, the bright, bustling mall suddenly feeling smaller and more oppressive. A group of friends stood in the middle of the walkway, their laughter and chatter fading away as the confrontation began. Shiny store windows reflected their anxious expressions, while the vibrant lights flickered above, casting an almost eerie glow on the scene.

"Where's the father? Who's his father, huh?" Kamini's words carried an edge, laden with accusations and venom, as she glared at the Ishana, her young, unmarried figure defiant in the face of the quiet mother.

Akshu gently placed her hands over Kshitij's ears, shielding him from the harsh words and preserving his innocence. However, the curious boy tilted his head upward, his hazel brown eyes sparkling with intrigue as he gazed up at Akshu. The warmth of his gaze touched Akshu's heart, and she felt a surge of protectiveness toward him.

Kamini's words held an unsaid mock which she thrown at Ishana. Krish's jaw clenched at that.

Ishana's hand tightened into a fist, her eyes narrowing as t9he girl continued, the air thickening with tension.

But before she could respond, a shift in the atmosphere occurred-a shadow moved between them. Rohan had stepped in, his posture protective, his expression a mask of cold fury that seemed to freeze the entire space around them.

The girl's breath hitched, a wave of fear running through her as Rohan spoke, his voice low and controlled but carrying an icy undertone that made everyone freeze

"Don't you think, you're crossing the line?" Each words gritted out in anger as Kamini give a nonchalant look, though she sense the silent threat in the tone.

Rohan's eyes trailled from Kamini to Kabir, the siblings gulp a lump. "Or you both siblings don't understand words?" His one brow arched up

Kabir too glare at him, remembering the last incident. "You-" he stopped when Rohan took a step near him.

Rohan took few steps closer to Kabir as Kamini flinch back at his approach "I told you to stay away from her, didn't I?" Rohan's jaw twitched in fury.

"Enough! I can handle this." Ishana grabbed his wrist and softly give a tug at back

"Ishana, you....!" Rohan frown at her but she didn't paid any heed to him.

Ishana stared dead at Kamini, "He's my Son." Kamini gave him a look.

She look at Kabir and clenched her fist, saying, "Doesn't matter whose kid he is. He always behaves with people after seeing their character," Ishana said with a smile, while Kamini gritted her teeth.
