Sinha Mansion
Are you going to ignore me? Ishana, please text back.
I sighed, staring at the last message I sent her. It had been the same day I returned from Yug's place.
Her behavior was frustrating me to no end. First, her ignorance. And then, that ACP's indecent attitude.
No, I wasn't talking about what happened at his apartment. That was a different issue altogether. I meant the incident the next day.
It had been four days since then. And two days since my second fight with Yug.
Yes, second fight!

Flashback
(Two days ago)
"Why did you call me here?" I frowned, eyeing him suspiciously.
Yug stood in front of me, his expression unreadable. "Hey, you know where Ishana is, right? She's not answering my calls. Forget about texts." I studied him closely, hoping for a reaction.
But he didn't say a word.
"Yug, I want to know wh-"
Before I could finish my sentence, a sharp punch landed on my face, making me stumble back. I was too shocked to react.
"Have you lost it? Why the hell did you punch me out of nowhere?" I snapped, touching my jaw as pain radiated from the impact.
He clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. "I should've killed you," he muttered, stepping forward to strike again.
This time, I caught his hand in mid-air.
"What did I do? At least tell me that, damn it!" My voice rose in irritation.
"You don't know? Fine, let me remind you." His glare turned deadly. "Four years ago, I did something-something unforgivable. You told Ishana about it. Does that ring a bell now?"
My breath hitched. My grip on his hand loosened as realization dawned.
The moment I let go, his fist connected with my face again, sending a fresh wave of pain through me. A hiss escaped my lips, but I didn't retaliate.
"She helped you, and you blamed her. Called her names." His voice shook with fury.
I gulped down the lump forming in my throat.
"My hand is itching to take out my gun and shoot you," he spat, his fingers twitching near his belt. "The only thing stopping me is the fact that you're Ms. Sinha's brother."
