"You just shut up!" Kabir snapped at her, his fury unchecked.
"Stop it, Kabir," Krish gritted out, his patience wearing thin.
Kabir scowled, unfazed.
Meanwhile, Akshu's phone pinged in her hand as she descended the staircase. She had just finished changing and freshening up, unaware of the tension crackling in the air.
"Where did you go suddenly, leaving your dearest cousin sister's engagement, huh?! What do you Mahajans think of us?! Is this all a joke to you?!" Kabir continued his tirade, his voice rising. His shouting irked everyone in the room-everyone except his father, who remained impassive.
"Hey, Kabir!" Akshu called out, her voice cutting through the tense silence.
But Kabir wasn't listening. He kept ranting, his words filled with accusations-how Krish had insulted his family by vanishing from the party, how he had humiliated his father.
"Hey!!" Akshu gritted her teeth, trying again. But Kabir was relentless, his words spilling like venom. Ishana was right-he was filth.
POW!
A sharp gasp rippled through the room.
Silence.
Krish's eyes widened. Yuvi swallowed hard.
"I told you to shut up. Stop barking, you piece of shit!" Akshu snarled, her voice dripping with fury.
Yuvi's father looked stunned, his eyes blown wide. Ragini, too, was taken aback, watching Akshu lose her composure.
Then, a sudden chuckle broke the silence. Yuvi's mother let out another amused laugh, shaking her head with a stupid grin.
"Who is this?" she muttered under her breath, eyeing Akshu with intrigue.
"You...!" Kabir glared, his body tensed with rage.
"Try it," Raj scoffed, stepping forward. "But let me tell you, you're dead if Ishana finds out about this." His gaze flickered to Kabir's clenched fists, knowing exactly what he wanted to do-hit Akshu.
