At the Airport....
"Where are the others?" Arshi raked her eyes around the bustling airport lounge but didn’t see anyone else except the Bedi's, the Mahajan's, Sanjay, Nandhini, and her family.
"Others already boarded the first flight," Eric answered casually.
"What??" She shrieked loudly, drawing a few curious glances from nearby passengers.
"Arshi, what happened?" Ashutosh asked with concern, stepping closer.
"Umm... Sorry. No, nothing," she quickly smiled awkwardly, trying to cover her outburst. She then leaned toward Eric and whispered harshly, "Then what about us?"
"Frankly, there were too many people to adjust in one flight, and the Rathores were already planning to use their private jet, so I divided everyone into two teams," Kunal explained with a shrug.
"At first, I thought to divide them as groom's and bride's sides, but then Bhai would have gotten sad missing you, so we didn’t send you with them," Kunal teased with a wink as Arshi blushed furiously.
"What nonsense. There's nothing like that," she spat defensively.
"Yes, yes. Your red cheeks are saying everything," Akshu teased, and the three of them broke into giggles.
"Okay, kids, come on. It’s time," Raj called out, and everyone nodded, gathering their bags.
As they made their way, Arshi frowned, noticing they were heading in the opposite direction from the usual gates.
"Why are we going the other way? We should be heading toward that gate, right?" she asked, confused.
Rohan sighed dramatically and grabbed her hand gently. "Come on, Di. You’ll understand soon. Let me hold your hand so you don’t get lost," he teased with a laugh.
Arshi playfully smacked his head, making Rohan laugh louder.
But the moment they turned the corner, Arshi gasped audibly, her hand tightening around Rohan’s.
