Dear readers,

It's truly disheartening to see so many of you reading the chapters but not leaving a vote or even a small word of encouragement. 😔 Writing takes a lot of effort, time, and heart, and as a writer, all I ask for is a little support in return.

Votes and comments are not just numbers; they are the motivation that keeps me going, reminding me that my work matters to you. When I don't see them, it feels like my efforts are going unnoticed.

If you've enjoyed the story so far, please take a moment to leave a vote or comment. It's a small gesture, but it means the world to me. Your support is what keeps this journey alive.

Thank you for understanding. 💔

It's been six months since Anaya and I tied the knot.

By God's grace, everything has been perfect.

Our relationship has faced its share of storms, but we've managed to navigate through them together. Life finally felt stable—until today.

I was immersed in work at my office when the phone rang.

Picking it up, I heard Tanya, my receptionist, on the other end.

"Sir, Tara Ma'am is here to see you," she informed me. I frowned at the mention of her name. Tara? After all these years? Why now?"
She's insisting, sir. Should I send her up?" Tanya asked hesitantly
.After a brief pause, I replied, "Fine, let her come up."

Minutes later, Tara walked into my office.

Before I could say a word, she hugged me tightly
. It happened so suddenly that I froze in place, unable to react.

"I missed you so much, Abhimaan," she whispered.I was about to push her away when the sound of shattering glass broke the moment.
I turned toward the source of the noise and froze. There she stood—Anaya.

Tears streamed down her face as she looked at me, her pain written all over her features.

No. This can't be happening. She can't misunderstand this. "Anaya, wait, let me explain—" I began, stepping toward her. But before I could finish,
she stormed forward and slapped me hard across the face. Her words cut deeper than the sting of her hand.

"I HATE YOU," she said, her voice trembling with emotion before she turned and walked away.I stood there, rooted to the spot, trying to grasp what had just happened.
