I open the door slowly, peeking my head out. "See anything? " Jessica whispers. I pull my head back in and look at them, "nothing." I say. Harley looks at Taylor, "who could it be?" She asks with fear laced in her voice. Conrad speaks up, "I saw this in a horror movie once! Everyone dies except the hot girl." He says. Me and Beth both say "oh thank god, I'm gonna live." We glare at each other. "I'm hotter." I say. She scoffs, " Please, we all know I'm the hottest." Before I can protest, the sound of glass breaking stops me. "Be quiet!" I whisper. I peek my head out and look towards the stairs, the glass from the door window is broken and a hand is reaching through to open it. Two figures step out. My eyes widen as I pull back, shutting the door. "Its her! The girl we tied to a pole!" I panic. "We? Uhm, no. WE did not tie her to a pole. you did." Sky says. I glare at her and look at Taylor. "I've got an idea." I tell her. "Yeah?" She asks, panic in her eyes. I pull out my gun, "they're gonna check the rooms. So, we hide against the wall, out of their sight. And when they come in, we surprise them." I explain. Blaise frowns. "You said she were older, in their 20s, we can't take on an adult. She's more experienced." He says, looking at me. I glare at him. "Don't doubt me." I say. We hear foot steps getting closer and they panic. "Quick! On the wall!" I whisper. They all push themselves against the wall and I get ready. The doorknob slowly turns and I lift my gun up. The door pushes open and the two figures step in, backs turned to us. They are both holding a gun. "Don't. Move." I say firmly. They freeze and lift their hands up. I walk around so I'm in front of them. "Guys, come on. Keep you weapons aimed at them." I say. They all push themselves off the wall and lift their weapons. The intruders eyes widen. "Put your guns down." I demand. Suddenly, a gun shot rung out. I'm quick to respond and shoot the guy, hitting him in the chest. The woman drops her gun, falling to her knees screaming for the Guy to stay alive. I look to my friends and see Jessica on the floor, blood pouring from her leg. Taylor is crying as Jessica sits in shock. "Taylor, Harley, Blaise, take Jessica to the medical room. Keep pressure on the wound. Take the bullet out and wrap her leg up." I say, keeping my eye on the woman crying over the man. "The rest of you stay here and help me." They nod as Harley and Blaise carry jessica out, Taylor following behind with tears pouring from her eyes. The door closes and I step towards the woman. "Why are you here?" I say as I put my gun to her head. "Just blow her fucking brains out!" Beth yells. "No! No, please don't. " the woman pleads, her voice shaking. "I didn't want to do this! I swear! He made me do it all! He-he wanted to take over this place, we followed you back and he liked the school. He figured we could beat a few 16 year olds, and take over." She cries, "I'm sorry just please don't kill me." She begs, tears falling down her face. "He shot our friend!" Conrad yells,"how do we know you wont do the same?" He exclaims angrily. "Yeah! And you also tried killing jasmine!" Sky yells. The woman looks down in regret. "Like I said, he made me do it. He threatened me. He said he would kill me. Please. I don't even like guns!" She quivers, shaking in fear. "Take her to an empty room, and lock her in there. Tie her hands up first." I demand. "I'm going to check on Jessica." I walk out, leaving them to it.

"Is she okay?" I gently ask Taylor. She looks at me tears in her eyes, "we got the bullet out and we patched it up but, we're only 16, it's not a very good job. " she says. "We're not doctors." She whispers as I head into the room. Jessica is sleeping, her leg propped up and wrapped in bandages. "He's dead, Jessica." I whisper before leaving. "Wheres Blaise?" I ask Taylor. She shakes her head. "I-i don't know. He left after we got her bandaged." I nod and begin walking towards his room, hoping to find him there to help me get rid of the mans body. I'm about to knock when I hear him talking to someone. "—ve a mission Sky. This isn't the time for crushing on someone." I hear him say firmly. Again? They're keeping things from us, I just know it. What's he talking about? A mission? "I know, it's just...I'm happy here." Sky mutters. I push my ear against the door, being careful not to make noise. "We have a week left Sky. Enjoy it while you can, it'll be over soon." Blaise says. I hear him stand up and walk towards the door. I run into the restrooms, hoping he didn't see me. I have to tell the others about this. They aren't who they say they are. They're hiding something.
