I began climbing through the window but a hand gripping my shoulder stops me. "Let me go!" I scream at them, not turning around. "Jasmine!" They yell, pulling my shoulder roughly. I sling their hand off and grab the frame of the window, trying to pull myself through. "I have to save him! Adam!" I cry. Hands go around my waist and pull me back, "jasmine, we have bigger problems." A deep voice says. Blaise? I stop struggling and turn to him. Blaise towers over me and Beth and Jessica stand behind him, tears running down their face. "What...what happened?" I ask, confusion in my shaking voice. Tears are still streaming down my face as Jessica speaks, "sky...she showed up." She says quietly. Sky? I thought we finally got rid of her! Crazy bitch. "What did she do?" I ask forcefully. The tears had stopped now and all that was left was the cold feeling of the wind hitting my wet cheeks. She came back? What if she hurt the others? "She brought a bunch of government guys, they tried taking us. The only thing left to do was run but, we got split up. Sky had them chase us and they somehow separated us." Blaise says solemnly. She tried to kill them? "I swear when I see her..." I muttered, not finishing the threat. Beth stepped towards me, looking back at the building. "Come one jasmine," she said gently. "They'll get tired of whoever is in there eventually." I look back at the building and my eyes tear up again. "Adam

.." I whispered. Beth looked at me confused. "What?" She asks. I look at her and turn away, walking to the forest. "His name was Adam."

------------

The leaves crunched loudly under our feet as the 4 of us walked through the dim forest. We had been walking for an hour and not a single word has been spoken. But, we all know what each other are thinking. Where are the others? Are they okay? What are we gonna do now? If we don't find them soon we'll have to establish a leader for our now smaller group. We'll have to change everything. "What are we gonna do now?" Jessica whispered. Beth looks at her with an annoyed look. "Does it look like any of us know?" She said, waving her arms at me and Blaise, along with herself. "I was just asking..." Jessica said timidly. "Yeah well next time don't ask something stupid." Beth retorts. "Hey!" I yell, "stop fucking fighting, now isn't the time." I say angrily. They both look down and nod. I turn and keep walking forward. "We should go back to the house, they're probably there." I tell them. I hear Blaise protest behind me. "Actually, the house is covered with the FBI." I shake my head. "Well, then we'll just go into town, maybe they had the same idea." I said, looking at them for approval. They nod and we begin in the direction the town would be in.

"Shit! Guys get down!" I whisper. They ducked behind some bushes and I peered around a tree. We were at tje edge if the forest, ahead of us was a gas station and the highway. The gas station had a white van sitting by a pump and a tall man in a black suit was filling up the tank. "Lets wait for them to leave." Jessica whispers. I shake my head and look at her. "No, we could use their car. And their weapons." I say, pointimg out the only one with a weapon was Beth. Beth shrugged "yeah, we could take the car." She said, agreeing with me. We all faced the gas station again and the man placed the gas pump back, walking into the building. "Come on!" I shout, sprinting to the van. They follow quickly and I jump into the driver seat. Beth jumps in the passenger seat as Blaise and Jessica hop in the back. I start the van and hit the gas. As we zoom out of the parking lot, two men in suits run out of the building, running after us. They get tired quickly and the stop. I can see them yelling angrily at us but the sounds of our laughs block out their yells. They disappear quickly as we speed off down the highway. "That was great!" Blaise laughs loudly from the back. Beth is laughing so hard that her eyes are beginning to water and Jessica is giggling quietly in the back. The laughing dies down as I speak, "alright guys, now what happens?" I ask, looking at them all. Beth furrows her eyebrows and speaks up, "they'd most likely go to the nearest shelter." I nod and turn down a side road, leading into a small town. "Probably here." I say. They all nod and I pull into the parking lot of a convenient store. "Lets find some stuff here and then we'll find somewhere to sleep, its getting late." I tell them, hopping out of the car. My feet hit the rough concrete and I walk towards the store. Swinging the door open, the ring of the bell above the door startles me. "Grab what you need and then we'll go."
