They look at me confused. "What do Sky and Blaise have to do with this?" Beth questions, staring at me with her eyebrow raised. I explain to them what I overhead, my suspicions about them, and how Taylor thought I was over reacting. "They knew we were coming here! They tore the gas tank, so we wouldn't have a way to get back. And one of them must have led the infected here to trap us! They know we're the strongest and want us dead." I explain, all of it finally coming together. "We have four days to get out of here and back to the school." I say angrily. Beth and Harley look at each other with worry. "Why would they be doing this?" Harley mutters. I punch the wall and my fist burns with pain. "Fuck! I don't know. But they are gonna hurt the rest!" I yell, punching the wall again. "Woah woah woah!" Beth says, running to me and grabbing my arm. "Calm down, jasmine. You'll hurt yourself, we need you right now." She tells me. I shake my head and kick the wall since someone, *cough* Beth *cough*, is holding my fist. "We have four days. Not even." I say. "They'll strike on the 4th day, whatever it is, and the end of the first day. So, we have tomorrow and the day after to be back." I sigh, my chest filling with worry. "You guys should get some sleep," I mutter sadly. "Ill come up with a plan, but you need sleep." Harley looks at me like I'm crazy. "Jazz, you need sleep too. You're pushing yourself to hard." She says gently. Beth nods in agreement. I give a small smile, "Don't worry, ill get some sleep." They nod slowly, unsure, and head to the closest hospital room to sleep.
----------
I had been up all night trying to make a plan. I looked around and found the floor plans for the hospital. There were 5 floors, each floor consisting of 20 or more rooms. On the top floor was a staircase to the roof. I lookes around the storage room and found a box full of surgical needles. I looked out the window and sighed. It looked there were even more out there now. "Beth! Harley! Wake up!" I yell through the door. I hear grumbles of protest and then what sounded like a "we're up, ass hole." I head to the box of needles, placing them by the first floor window. "What's the plan, boss?" I hear Beth ask. I turn and she's grinning at me cheekily. I sigh and say, "I think so. I just hope it works." Harley walks in, "hope what works?" She asks while yawning. "Her plan." Beth deadpans. She looks at me, "you didn't sleep at all, did you?" I shake my head as she glares at me. "So what's the plan?" Harley asks. I sit them down and lay out the floor plan. "Harley, you'll be on the roof, shooting them with you're bow," I tell her. She nods and lets me continue. "Beth, you'll be on this floor, the first one, killing them. You'll be throwing these," I pick up a needle. "At them." She grins "like a dart game?!" She asks. I chuckle. "Yes, like a dart game. Harley with kill the infected that are a distance away while you get the ones you can hit from the windows." I point at the windows and Beth nods. "What will you be doing?" Harley asks. I smirk, "ill be on the second floor, shooting them." They nod. "Alright, lets get to it. This will take a while." I clap my hands and we head to our positions.

a/n: that was supposed to be the end of this chapter but, I wrote the next chapter and realized it was super short so I just added it to chapter 14 cxWe had been killing them for over 2 hours and not even half of them were gone. Beth ran out out of needles and had to collect used ones from the trash bins. I was on the second floor, shooting infected without a second thought. Aim, fire. Aim, fire. Aim—, before I could fire, a scream came from the first floor. "Beth!" I yell. I turn from the window and run towards the stairs, sprinting down them. I throw the door open and Beth slams into me. "Go!" She yells. I look past her to see infected climbing through all the windows, heading towards us. "Shit!" I exclaim, pulling Beth into the staircase and slamming the door shut. "Hurry!" She yells, dragging me out the stairs. Halfway up, the door breaks down and they flood the staircase. We make our way up to the roof, slamming the doors closed and infected knocking them down. I open the door to the roof and yell,"Harley!" She turns around, cross bow in hand. I slam the door shut and put a chair I brought up last night against the doorknob. "Guys, they're gone. They're all in the building." Harley says, fear laced in her voice. They begin to bang on the door. "What are we gonna do?" Beth panics. She starts pacing, muttering about how she was too hot to die. The banging on the door gets louder. I run to the edge of the building and look down. Nothing. I run to the other side and grin. "Guys! I have an idea." I yell. They run to me and look down. "Tho-those are dead bodies!" Harley yells. I nod, "yeah, hundreds of them, piled up." I tell her. Beth looks at me, realization crosses her face. "Enough to break our fall!" She exclaims in joy. Harley shakes her head frantically. "I'm not jumping onto a bunch of dead bodies!" She yells in a shaky voice. A loud bang rings out and I turn to see the infected pouring out of the doorway. "Looks like you'll have too!" I yell, wrapping my arms around her. Beth jumps off and I hold onto Harley and push myself off.
