I played with my hair, having nothing else to do. How come I'm stuck in here? God. I still blame him for what happened. I hope you die, C-
The door opened.
Xisuma popped his head out from the hallway. He saw us and smiled. "Hey guys!" Grian smiled. "Hello X." It had been a few weeks since Xisuma's first day. G was pretty upset he didn't leave when he was warned. But I'm thankful, he's like, the only nice one here. Atleast, in a long while.
Mumbo still sat back in his corner. He was still very wary of X. I don't blame him. After all, he was-
Oh right. Xisuma's here.
"So, I got something for you guys."
Grian gasped. "Really?! Thanks X!" I thanked him. Mumbo squinted. "Why?" X was really confused by this question. "What do you mean why? It's Christmas!"
We all looked at each other. "We don't really, uh, have track of time. And plus, what would we get each other?" Grian said, choosing his words carefully. "Ah, I see." Xisuma replied slowly. "Well, I got you guys gift's nonetheless!" He came in our room. He had a bag that said "Target."
"So, Grian, this one's for you!" X handed G a box. Grian began to open it. "Grian!" X laughed. "Wait for the other 2 to get theirs, first!" Grian grumbled back a response, like the little gremlin he is.
"Scar, yours is next!" X grinned while handing me a yellow box. It had a green bow and tie. I waited patiently for Mumbo to get his. My leg bounced up and down in anticipation. Oh, it had been so long since I celebrated Christmas! How I missed it so!
X began to approach Mumbo, but stopped when the latter glared carefully at him. Wow, Mumbo. "I'll just give it to him." Grian said as he took Mumbo's gift and gave it to Mumbo, who visibly relaxed.
"On the count of three, ready?" I gave a "yup!" in response, and so did G.
"3..."
"2..."
"1..."
"Open!"
I impatiently ripped the top off the box and looked inside. When my eyes met the gift, I gasped.
"Mrreeow?"
