All year, you kept racking your brain of what to get your one hundred and fifty year old vampire boyfriend for Christmas.

You kept bouncing back from one thing to another, then moving on to a completely new idea, you were stressed. But, after thinking long and hard about one specific thing, you finally came up with something, but it couldn't be given until everyone was gone.

You got him some regular guy things, shirts, jeans, a necklace, stuff to make him appear normal to everyone who came over to celebrate the holidays - not every one knows what he really is.

"Any reason you're sitting over here alone?" Colby asks as he walks up to you, "You know the party is in there right?"

You smile as you move your legs from off the arm of the chair, "Yeah, I'm just.. thinking."

"Thinking, huh?" He crouches down, "You okay?"

You nod, "Yeah, yeah. I'm just, kinda anxious about giving you your last gift."

His brows shoot up, "There's more?"

You laugh, "There's more, but it's something that has to wait until everyone finally decides to go home."

He groans, "You're going to make me wait?" He smirks as you nod, and he shakes his head, "Well, whatever it is, I'm sure I will love it.

"I hope so." You smile and stand up, "Come on. Let's go carry on with some more festivities." He takes your hand and follows you back into the room.

Sam convinced everyone to join in on some holiday themed games, charades, 20 questions, and so on.

You loved the holidays, especially because it made Colby feel like he wasn't a freak of nature, not that you thought that, but sometimes he thought that, and you were always good at helping him feel better.

After some time, your guests finally decided to start leaving.

"Thanks for coming!" Colby smiles, "Merry Christmas!" You smile as you take Colby's hand into yours, waving as the final people leave, "Drive safe! Merry Christmas!"

Colby closes the door and turns around, pulling you towards him, "Hi."

You smile up at him, "Hi."

"I don't mean to be pushy, but.. I couldn't stop thinking about what it is that you have waiting for me."
