Flying Fish Pirates

"Come on get to it, those cannons won't push themselves!"

Wheels squeaked loudly, and the sounds of heavy breathing echoed the hall way. Grumbling on the way as Gajeel kept trying to give me words of encouragement.

Yes....I do still hear voices, I've spoken with Chopper. As of now it's just the voices, I haven't seen any of my guild mates since we left Thriller Bark.

"Come on Usopp these cannons won't push themselves" I grunted using the same words Gajeel said and helped steer some of the cannons to the deck, Franky pushing two out. I did one and Usopp and chopper did one together. Usopp was lugging behind leaving Chopper to do most of the heavier work in his heavy point. "These are heavy, why cant you push mine" The sniper whines, I snap my gaze to him and remained silent. My muscles ached as I pushed the heavy cannon.

"I want these on port and starboard side on the main deck. Got it" I ordered slightly out of breath to the trio helping, they gave me a salute and positioned the cannons to be ready. "You wimp already out of breath!" Wiping the sweat off my brow, I grinned happily watching Sanji and Zoro pull out the large boxes of my explosive cannonballs. "Perfect! Now just don't drop them!" I pointed to the deck for the two to place. Luffy had stars in his eyes and jumped on the box Zoro was holding making everyone panic.

"I want to fire one!"

"Oh crap!"

"Luffy! Get off of the box!"

"Hehehe! I want to see the explosions!" I felt anxiety course through me watching Zoro struggle to keep himself balanced. After a few seconds Zoro finally sets the box down as carefully as he could with the wild captain on the box. Sauntering over I smacked Luffy on the head harshly, a big bump formed making him flinch at the pain. "You dumbass! Those explosives can kill everyone here on board!" I began lecturing him, making everyone stare at me wide eye as I did. Luffy stunned as I put my hand on my hip with a hard glare. "Don't touch my stuff" I squinted my dark eyes at him, he gave me a silent quick nod. Soon Luffy scrambled up and away from me, leaving the crew still stunned. The captain pouting and looking gloomy in a corner on the deck.

"Hey! We're here!" Nami shouted from the helm announcing to every one of our arrival to the pirates' base. A large four story tall rounded stone wall that circled around the base with multiple building inside. "What an interesting base" I hummed and peered over the railing with Franky nodding. "It's definitely not an island, looks like a town built out on sea" Franky concluded, I admired the handy work done as we got closer. "It's really quiet" I frowned trying to listen for anything, something didn't seem right here.

"Hey Luffy..."

"ONWARD!!"

I watched Nami stare dumbfounded and slouch her shoulders giving up on talking to Luffy.

"HEY HATCHIN!"

"HATCHIN ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?!"

Looking around for any signs of movement as we sailed closer to the town. "Someone's in the cage!" Usopp shouts from the front of the ship pointing. "Oh is it Hatchin?" Camie asked with a hint of hope in her voice. "Ready those cannons Franky" I mumbled quietly to the shipwright who gave me a curt nod, I began helping unload the box of explosives and started prepping the cannons. If these guys have riding flying fish, then they have the advantage if their somewhere under water. The cannons would be our best advantage besides using our personal weapons, the cannons can at least send a resonating after shock to stun the flying fish.

"What's this?" Pausing for a moment after putting the gunpowder prep in the cannon, I turned to see everyone staring at the cage. "Oh, we've run into him before. A long time ago, these Fish-men pirates called Arlong pirates ruled Nami's hometown" Usopp explained to Robin, my dark eyes narrowed in on the being in the cage. "That Octopus was the first mate in the gang" My mind flashed back to when Nami told me about her adoptive mom, my hand formed a tight fist. Nami's town suffered terribly from those pirates.
