Yo Ho, Ho Ho

Time froze around me, that wasn't the Sunny.

What the hell was that, my eyes widen with fear once more. I sat up, Chopper skid away from me.

"Yo ho, ho ho"

A cry left my mouth, I quickly leaped up using my legs and scramble towards the main mast, using my arms to try and hug the wooden pole. The mast creaked against the force of my hands. "Yo ho, ho ho" My heart raced as I shut my eyes. "Make it stop, it's just a figment of imagination" I mumbled to myself, repeating left and right as music played and the sound got closer. A few gasps echoed the deck, I opened my eye stunned to see a large shadow loom over the ship.

"Yo ho, ho ho" The sound was more like singing, I take a deep breath and tried to calm my racing heart while tilting my head to see a large broken worn down ship. I would have guessed it's been abandoned for years, but someone must be there making that music. "Oh crap" I let go of the mast and stumble to stand next to everyone.

"GHOST SHIP!" We all shouted in disbelief. The ghost ship sailed slowly to the side of Sunny, I felt my heartbeat in my ears. My pupils widen to see a figure standing on the railing of the ghost ship. I couldn't stop myself from letting out a girlish scream seeing a skeleton.

"Cole!"

I held my left hand up and pointed in shock. "S-Skeleton!" Franky quickly places a hand on my shoulder. "Calm down there squirt!" He shouts but his expression was the same as mine. The crew stood and watched the ship.

"I volunteer to stay on the ship!" Usopp sputtered out, I quickly turn my head at him with narrowed eyes. "Hell no, I'm staying here" I glare at him and he returns the glare. "You're suppose to be to strong on here! I stay on the ship, can't you just go all dragon on the ghosts?" He shouts at me with a shaky hand pointed at me. "I'll show you dragon, you-" Luffy steps close to the railing interrupting everyone. "Alright! Let's gooooo!"

Both Usopp and I shared a dreadful unenthusiastic expression. "I'll go last!" The sniper quickly yells out and sticks his tongue at me.

I grumbled and grip the rope in my hands, I glared at my smiling captain. Nami and Sanji tagged along to ensure that Luffy stays in line, and to make sure I didn't burn the ghost ship down.... I was volun-told to come with though. "Chopper! You're gonna suffocate me" I let out a strangled yell as he grips my neck tightly, I tried to steady us against the rope as my airways closed. "Sorry" Chopper mumbled I took a deep breath and continued climbing up as the afro skeleton peers over the railing. The lack of eyes sent shivers down my back. I felt Chopper tremble on my shoulder as I pushed us up on the rope.

"Evil spirits begone"

I grind my teeth annoyed hearing Usopp shouting the same phrase for the past few minutes from the comfort of the Sunny. "Hey Go faster!" Chopper began to smack my head at me. I halt my movement at stare at the rope contemplating on life. "Yeah! Come on slow poke!" Luffy peers over the edge of the railing frowning at me.

"Oh I see! You're arm must be bothering you, here I'll help you and chopper out!" My eyes widen in panic seeing Luffy stretch his arms towards us. I lose my grip on the rope, Chopper screeched out and starts to choke me.

"Ghhahaa!" Luffy grabs my left arm, I tried to tap on Chopper's arms to get him to let go. However, he didn't and the two of us was launched into the air.

"Idiot!" Nami shouts at him and punched him causing Luffy to let go of us. We soar into the air towards the skeleton. The blood drained from my face as I screamed.

"Holy shit!"

Crashing into the skeleton, Chopper quickly leaps up and runs towards Nami leaving me on top of the Skeleton. I remain frozen as I looked at the empty eye sockets of the skeleton. "Excuse me Ma'am....." The skeleton began before stuttering.... "D-Dee....Demon!" My eye twitched, I pulled back and stand up with my arms on my hips. "who the hell are you calling Demon!?" Luffy and Chopper giggle behind me.

"Miss Demon may I see your panties?"

"I'm not a damn demon! And NO!" I shouted at him with flames in my hands with anger. The skeleton man took a step back, Nami rushed over to pull me away from the afro skeleton. "If I told you NO! Why would you think Cole would say yes!" I grumbled in annoyance and take a step closer to her.. "Yo ho, ho ho! What an interesting name for a demon" The skeleton hums to himself, I break my daze and stare hard at him. "I'm not a damn demon" I snarled, Sanji twirled around to me.

"Cole-swannnn you're like a seductress De-" I snap my head at him and glared silencing him.

"Hey do you poop?" Silence filled the ghost deck as we all stared dumbfounded at Luffy's question. He stood there completely unfazed by his question, I blinked unsure if this was the same guy who beat Lucci. "We have other questions we need to ask him before that!" Sanji hollers at our captain who smiled giddily at the skeleton. The said skeleton looks at me unsure and bows his head. "Apologies Demon Lady, I am Brook" My eyes twitch at the name he gave me, so all I could do was nod to not light him up in flames.

"And to answer your question, yes. I do poo as a matter of fact" His reply stunned as on how casual he sounded.

So there stands a talking pooping panty asking pervert Skeleton.

Chopper rushed towards me, I turn my head to the side. He left me on top of that skeleton, who does that? Apparently the doctor does, I let out a huff as Chopper jumps on my shoulders. "First off, how the hell are you talking and alive? How are you all bones?" I asked pointing at him, Snaji shared the same thought as me and nodded. "Yeah, who are you and why are you here!?" Though Sanji came out a little more aggressive, probably due to Brook asking about panties. I grew silent looking around the deck of the ship. It was very apparent that it was old, the wood was rotting. This ship was not safe at all to be on, I wasn't even sure if the deck could handle all of our weight in some spots.

My shoes pushes slightly on some of the wood and I felt it bend and creak. I frowned and looked over at Brook who was looking at me, I could see how sad he was. The more I looked at Brook, the less I saw Bones and more of a person. Taking a small step forward I set Chopper down and gave Brook a small smile. "I'm Cole, the weapon specialist" I held my right arm out, the brace evident and the scars as well. Brook was stunned at me, he held out his boney hand and I shook it. I squeezed softly and then let go, turning around to face my captain who stared at Brook with the same expression when he looked at me back on the Going Merry. "Never mind who you are, Do you wanna join my crew?" Luffy's question brought a smile to my face as his words echoed the ship. Brook didn't show any expression and took a sip of his drink that magically appeared.

"I'd love to"

Sanji, Nami, and Chopper all screeched out and began to shout at our captain, Chopper jumped from my shoulders to join the other two in scolding Luffy.

Watching Brook, it was a wonder to know how he became a skeleton in the first place. Walking over to him, I stood next to him. He towered over me, his height towered over all of us on the ship. "A talking skeleton, never would have thought" I hummed and crossed my arms watching the trio shout at luffy. "Sorry for being scared of you" I mutter to him, Brook seemed unfazed and waved his hand at me. "Oh don't worry, I'd be scared of myself too. I mean look at me, I'm all boney. Yo ho ho ho!" He laughed brushing off my apology, I laughed at his bone joke. "Hey Cole!" Nami in the corner of my eye waved me over, both her, Sanji and Chopper shared a concern look. With hesitation I walked over to the trio.

"What the hell do we tell the rest of the crew!?"

I shrugged at them.

"That we have a skeleton now?"
