Jennie POV
The aftermath of Jisoo's unexpected interruption lingered in the air like an echo, and I could still feel the heat crawling up my cheeks as I leaned into Lisa's embrace. My unnie was impossible—a walking, talking embarrassment factory designed specifically to torment me.
"She's never going to let this go," I muttered, my face buried against Lisa's chest. The steady rhythm of her heartbeat was soothing, but it didn't stop the mortification swirling inside me.
Lisa's soft laugh rumbled through her chest. "She's just having fun with us. Besides, it's cute seeing you flustered."
I pulled back to glare at her, though I knew the effect was lost thanks to the lingering blush on my face. "Cute? Lisa, she caught us. In my office. Do you know how many times she's going to bring this up?"
Lisa shrugged, the corners of her lips tugging into a mischievous smirk. "Probably every chance she gets. But you can handle it, baby."
My heart flipped at the endearment, but I refused to let her off so easily. "That's easy for you to say. She practically gave you a pat on the back for claiming territory."
Lisa's grin widened, and she leaned in closer, her dark eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, she's not wrong about that."
I groaned, pushing at her shoulder. "Don't start."
She chuckled, capturing my hands in hers before I could escape her teasing. "Alright, alright. But seriously, Jennie, I love seeing this side of you. It's so... raw. So real."
I frowned, tilting my head as I studied her expression. Lisa could be playful and infuriating, but right now, there was nothing but sincerity in her gaze. "What do you mean?"
She gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind my ear. "You spend so much time being this incredible, untouchable CEO. But moments like this, when you're just Jennie, my Jennie... it's everything to me."
Her words made my chest tighten in the best way, and I couldn't help the small smile tugging at my lips. "You're too smooth for your own good, you know that?"
She laughed, pulling me back into her arms. "Maybe. But it worked, didn't it?"
I sighed, letting my head rest against her shoulder. "I guess it did."
We sat there in comfortable silence for a moment, the chaos of the day fading away. But, of course, my mind was still racing—Jisoo's teasing, Lisa's earlier jealousy, the way she'd claimed me so thoroughly that I could still feel the lingering warmth of her touch.
And then, there was the matter of locking the door.
"I can't believe I didn't lock the door," I muttered, more to myself than to Lisa.
She chuckled, her fingers drawing lazy patterns on my arm. "Lesson learned?"
I nodded, a small smile breaking through my pout. "Lesson learned. But you're helping me deal with Jisoo next time."
Lisa pulled back just enough to look at me, her grin as wide as ever. "Deal. But only if you let me call you mine again."
The possessive tone in her voice sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn't stop the smile that spread across my face. "I've always been yours, Lisa. You don't need to remind me."
Her expression softened, and she pressed a tender kiss to my forehead. "Just making sure you know."
And I did. With every look, every touch, and every word, Lisa made sure I knew I was hers—and that she was mine, too.
