Jennie POV

The next four weeks felt like a whirlwind of emotions and milestones, a mix of responsibilities, celebrations, and pure, unfiltered happiness. It all started with Lisa doing something I never thought she would—pushing me to go to Paris with Taehyung.

"It's your responsibility as a CEO, Jennie," she said one evening as we lounged on the couch. Her tone was calm, reassuring. "At the end of the day, you worked hard for this, and I trust you. Completely."

Hearing those words from Lisa made my heart swell. She trusted me, even after everything. It wasn't just words either; it was her actions, her presence, the way she kissed me softly before I left, whispering that she'd count down the days until I came back. And I did the same, already aching to return to her even before the plane took off.

While I was in Paris, Lisa and I kept in touch constantly. She'd send me little good morning texts, pictures of her meals, and even videos of Rosie and Jisoo teasing her about missing me too much. And at night, when my meetings were over, we'd video call, and she'd insist on seeing me wear her ring, teasing me about how much I admired it. She wasn't wrong—I couldn't stop looking at it. It was a reminder that I was hers, and she was mine.

When I came back, Lisa was waiting for me at the airport with the biggest smile. That first hug after the trip? It felt like coming home.

The following weeks were a blur of excitement. We broke the news of our engagement to our friends and family. My parents were thrilled, her parents too, though they couldn't resist joking about how they always knew we were meant to be.

Our friends were a mix of emotions—Rosé and Jisoo alternated between teasing us mercilessly and crying about how happy they were. "I'm so glad you two worked it out," Rosé said one night over drinks, raising her glass. "You deserve this."

The engagement party was small but perfect. It was a beautiful evening filled with laughter, love, and the people who mattered most to us. Lisa and I couldn't stop stealing glances at each other, as if to confirm that this was real, that this was our life now.

Every moment felt like a dream. On quiet nights, Lisa and I would sit together, planning our future while I admired my ring. She'd catch me staring at it and smirk, saying, "You're really obsessed with that thing, aren't you?"

And I'd laugh, replying, "It's not just a ring, Lisa. It's us. It's everything we've been through, everything we are."

Lisa would pull me close, her forehead resting against mine, and say, "Then I'm glad you like it because it's only the beginning."

Blissful days turned into peaceful nights, and with each one, I knew I'd made the right choice. Lisa and I were building something beautiful, something worth every challenge and every sacrifice. And as I lay in her arms, my head resting against her chest, I realized that this—the love, the trust, the quiet moments—was everything I'd ever wanted.

I never expected Lisa to be so involved in planning our wedding. In fact, I'd assumed she'd be the type to show up, nod at a few floral arrangements, and call it a day. But as the weeks passed, she proved me wrong in the most endearing way possible.

From the moment we hired our wedding coordinator, Lisa had dived into the planning process with an enthusiasm I didn't know she possessed. And honestly? It made me fall for her even more.

Today was one of our planning sessions, and Lisa and I were seated across from Mrs. Choi, a seasoned wedding coordinator whose calm demeanor and efficiency made her a perfect fit for us. Lisa, however, was anything but calm. She was practically buzzing with energy as we went over the details.
