It has come to my attention—well, your attention now—that my draft is already done. Yes, you read that right. The bones? They’re there. The plot? Oh, it’s got more twists and turns than your favorite soap opera. The characters? Fully fleshed-out, lovable, hateable, morally gray, and everything in between. This thing is cooked, plated, and garnished—just needs a few spices added or removed (and maybe a tiny kitchen fire put out).BUT—and here’s the kicker—this masterpiece, this magnum opus, this chef’s kiss of storytelling is not out yet. Why? Not because I can’t finish it. Oh no, let me make one thing abundantly clear: I could knock this out, drop all chapters in your hands tomorrow, and sit back like the genius I know I am. LOL
BUT WOULD YOU APPRECIATE IT THEN?
I mean, would you really? Would you savor it, dissect it, theorize about what comes next, and write me paragraphs of DMs at 3 a.m. about your favorite scene? Or would you just binge it in a single sitting and go, “Cool, when’s the next book?”
Exactly.
So here’s the deal: I’m taking my time to tweak, polish, and perfect the flow, the pacing, and that one scene I keep deleting and putting back in. I’m also spreading out the release like a fine wine tasting—a little at a time. You’ll get your fill, but not too much, and certainly not all at once. I’ll be dropping chapters or updates every other day (give or take, depending on caffeine levels), and trust me, the slow burn will be worth it.
In conclusion: The book is done. I could finish editing it yesterday if I really wanted to. But I’m not gonna. You’re gonna wait, you’re gonna love it, and we’re all gonna thrive in this deliciously excruciating anticipation.
WELL... SINABIHAN LANG TLGA AKO NA MASYADO AKO MABILIS MAG DROP KAYA BABAGALAN KO NA MUNA LOL, DI DAW NA AAPPRECIATE EH HAHAHAA
