Shailene POV- I wake up in a hospital waiting room. The sun is beating through the windows. "Shailene?" The doctor calls. Why is he calling me by my first name?. Right, I told him to. I walk up to him. "Yes?" I ask nervously. "You can go visit him now." " Thank you doctor." "He will be in room 476." The doctor says. "Okay." When I finally reach the room. I take a deep breath bracing myself for what is yet to come. When I walk in my eye catches the machines that are all plugged into Theo one way or another. I walk over to him I grab his hand I squeeze hard maybe if I squeeze hard enough he might come out of his coma. Tears are rolling down my cheek "I love you, You know." But he doesn't respond. "If you don't want to wake up that's fine, You can go on to heaven if you want." He still lays there lifeless. "But always remember-" I place his hand over my chest. "You will always remain in my heart no matter what." That's when I drop to my knees. He has to wake up.That's when the door opens."Mommy" I turn to see Cleo. "Hi Sweetie." She looks over to her daddy. "What's wrong with daddy?" "He's in a very deep sleep." I say to her. "Will he wake up?" "They don't know." Tears start making their way down her face. She runs over to Theo she wraps her arms around his neck. "Please daddy wake up." Jane comes in with flowers."I'm so sorry shailene." "No its fine its my fault I was still mad at him doing that thing with the Lana girl. I should have forgiven him." She walks over to me. "Honey forgiveness takes time." She looks over at my hand. "Where is your ring." "I got mad at Theo and threw it at him, And told him to leave now look he is in a comma." I cry into Jane's shoulder. "Its okay how did this happen.?" "Well after he left I stayed at the house and drunk bottle after bottle of wine, well after that I went to the liquor store to buy more, Then I fount Ruth's car with a passed out Theo so I hyjacked her car and brought him here needless to say he is in here for alcohol poisoning." Jane nods her head. Jason and Jack come pushing each other in.With Marcy trailing behind. "The others are at the house." Marcy reports. "Kids you have some errands to run." Jane says."But mum." "Don't mum me." She says. "Go to Ruth's place." "And here." She hands them some money. "In case you get into trouble." Marcy rolls her eyes. "Sure." Once they leave. Jane looks over at me. "Payback is a bitch dear." "Indeed it is." I reply. "Indeed it is." Jane says with a smirk.
