Chapter 5

Shailene pov- I hear my alarm go off. Its 5:30 am. I get up and Shower and Change into my exercising clothes. I go run every morning. When I come back In I change into some yoga pants and a tank top. I start cleaning the house. I do this every morning. The good thing is the whole house was built with soundproof walls. So nobody hears me. After I clean. As if on cue mom walks in. "Honey what are you doing up this early its 7:30." She says."Running and cleaning and ,now cooking breakfast." "You clean." "Yes the main floor the downstairs and upstairs are cleaned on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays ." I say. I am fixing a cup of coffee when Jane walks in. "So Shailene." She says. I hand Jane a cup of coffee as well ."yes." "When you went upstairs last night during dinner was it because you were talking to Theo about different positions you were going to use." I spit my coffee out on instant. "What!" I yell. That's when I hear Footsteps."what, what, what, what,what, what ,what, what,
." Jack says coming into the kitchen. Jason is behind him. Starts singing. "I'm going to pop some tags only got 20$ in my pocket." "Shut up." Jane tells them.Jack is wearing a purple shirt with yellow lettering that says" ya$$ "with black shorts. While Jason is wearing a shirt that is green with yellow lettering that says" young money." on it that has a dollar sign on the back of the shirt with green Shorts. I roll my eyes."Anything we miss ladies.?" Jack says quirking his eyebrows. "Nope." I say. I set down a plate of bacon. They attack it like a vulture going after a dead animal.

Later that day we all change into swim suits to go to the pool. I'm so thankful we built a huge one in our backyard because we have a huge family.We are all in the pool when I forget something. "I'll be right back I have to go check the mail." I say. I get out of the pool.I walk into the front yard to get to the mailbox. Now to think about it I should have worn a towel around me. Because I am wearing a string bikini and Josh is by his mailbox. I hope he does not notice me. "Shailene!" Shoot. "Hey." I say back to him. "You look good." "Oh thanks." "I was going to walk over to your house and hand you this but since your out here." He hands me. A bouquet of flowers. And a box. "I can't take this." I tell him. "And why not?" "Because I'm ." But a car slows down." The window rolls down . A man I have never met before looks at me. "Is this where Shailene Taptiklis lives?" "Yes It is." I say. He pulls his glasses down. "Shailene woodley.?" "Yes indeed it is but its taptiklis now." He smiles. "Wow okay well I guess I will have to get use to this." He says." I'm mark by the way." We shake hands. "Shes in the back." "Okay." He says. Josh stands on his porch . "See you later Josh." I wave to him . "Sure Shailene." He says. As I walk off. I start to wonder. "Does he like me?"
