I was cuddling on the couch with Taty and talking about our plans for tomorrow when her phone suddenly started to ring.
"I don't wanna answer it, I like staying in this position". She moaned.
I laughed. "Come on babe, answer it." I replied.
"Fine."
As she was taking on the phone her face suddenly dropped.
"That can't be true.....I spoke to her Yesterday!!!" She said as he sat up.
I sat up with her.
"Yeah... Yeahhh....OK bye..."
A waterfall of tears began to pour from her face. I instantly hugged her and kissed her forehead.
"What's wrong babe?" I questioned.
"...She's dead..." She slurred
"Who?" I asked
"My aunt...." She responded
"I'm sooo sorry..." I said as I hugged her even tighter
"Its fine, its just hard to digest" She said, sobbing a bit more
I gently pulled her closer to me by her waist as her back rested on my chest and whispered sweet things in her ear. After about 10 minutes of cuddling, I picked her up bridal style and laid her softly on the bed. I stroked her hair softly.
"Don't worry I'm always here for you and don't you forget that. I love you more than anything and I'll always keep you safe. We'll get through this together. I promise" I said as I continuously kissed her temple
She began falling asleep, and mumbled "I love you Hayes". Just before she dozed off
"I love you more Taty " I said as her eyes finally shut
