"Suguru?" I wiped my eyes but the man infront of me was very much Geto.
"Jeez, look at you getting emotional. There's a guy asking for you for the last ten minutes. And he's not a nice one," he whispered the last part.
I stretched myself from the dorm bed and stood up. I creaked the door open to find a short man with an undercut. I started to laugh.
"What's so funny you tall piece of shit?" Levi glared at me.
"Nothing, you actually came," I smiled.
He scoffed. "I wouldn't be here if you hadn't offered to get me cleaning supplies. Now get your ass moving and I don't wanna see you in yesterday's clothes."
I rolled my eyes. "Alright grumpy pants.." I muttered as I went back inside the dorm, where Suguru stared at me with a confused face.
"Oh him, he's my friend. I met him at a party," I explained as I threw a shirt and a coat on the bed. He took the hint and gave me a thumbs up. And left me with that. I wondered what that meant.
Tokyo was a busy city, especially during winter. Levi gave me a look.
"That's all?"
"What do you mean that's all?" I glanced from behind my sunglasses.
"You won't get cold?"
"Do you care?"
"No."
I tugged on the right sleeve of my jacket to let the snowflake fall off me. We started to walk towards the market. I heard a noise, and an arm wrap around me.
"Gojoooooo!!" The brunette with glasses hummed in a sing-song voice.
"Four eyes," Levi declared with disgust.
"Where you two off hmm? A date perhaps?" I had talked with Hange once enough to know she was batshit crazy. I slapped her hand off lightly and laughed.
"Date? What? I'm helping him get together with his cleaning supplies."
"And I'm helping this retarded ass buy a gift for her retarded friend."
"Suguru is NOT retarded."
"Whatever you say.."
Hange rubbed her chin. People walked past us in all festivity. Couples held hands, and children whined to their parents for toys or candy. Before we knew it, the three of us landed infront of the departmental store.
"This is where you get the good stuff," I smirked at Levi. He'd moved in recently so he didn't know where they sold cleaning supplies at a "lower" price. The store was huge, and crowded. Hange clung to me like a leech. I didn't mind that much. We watched the fake snow fall in a snowglobe while Levi took his own sweet time.
"Hey brats, would it kill to do something useful?"
"Buzzkill!" We whined in unison.
After Levi finished paying for his bag of cleaning supplies, it was already noon. We stopped at a cafe for lunch. A friendly cashier waved at us.
"Hange! Levi!" The red haired girl recognised Hange. She came to our table.
"You work here, Sasha?" Hange clapped her hands silently.
"Ya, just for some extra cash. Connie and Jean can't work to save their ass."
"If you kids need work just call me," Levi said.
"He'll make you clean the whole of Tokyo," I warned grimly.
"Shut up, you useless teacher."
"Hey!"I yelled. I couldn't tell them I taught sorcery you know. Sasha laughed and took our order.
We stopped by three stores, but I couldn't find anything that Suguru would like. I'd already gotten Shoko a gift, so that settled it.
We were dead tired by the end of the day. And I'd not gotten anything for Suguru. Levi looked pissed and Hange was hungry. I looked at the passing shops, my eyes resting on the cafe we'd eaten at. Two people were talking to Sasha, and the boy was adjusting a red scarf on the girl.
An idea crossed me like a lightbulb. I ran to the store, Levi and Hange behind me.
I came out with a wrapped box, and a determined smile. Levi put a hand on his head.
"Finally, you used some brain."
"You're friend would love it for sure!" Hange exclaimed.
I was sure of it too.
