The night soon came to Santa Fe along with the plan of rescuing the children, Pilar's mother and Nayeli's mother too.

Sonic along with the Distraction Team, Nayeli, Kai, Omega and Abigail stared at the mansion and the guards wearing their black robes and hoods.

"This reminds me of Star Wars' Sith. This very much looks like Dark Side and we need is just Darth Vader." Sonic says with his usual grin full of cockiness. Nayeli, Kai, and Abigail looked at him with puzzle look, making Sonic to realize that they didn't know about Star Wars.

Omega spoke with his robotic voice. "SONIC. YOU FORGOT THAT THEY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT REFERENCE." Sonic soon sighs and replied 'I know' to Omega's words. He forgot that Nayeli and others don't know anything about Star Wars because they're from another world where there's hardly sci-fi fantasy movies.

Maybe was because they are living in a actual fantasy world.

At least they don't know that Disney ruined Star Wars. It used to be so peak until Disney got involved with politics. Sonic thought, shaking his head slightly by recalling how Star Wars was so amazing along with their spin-offs like Star Wars Rebels and The Mandalorian until Disney got involved with politics.

"No wonder why the magic left so suddenly." Sonic mutters while Omega was looking at the targets. Omega took his his machine, making Sonic alerted and tell Omega to wait, knowing how eager he was to blow up something.

Omega let out a 'Aw' of disappointment before he and Sonic saw Kai and Abigail charging their powers up into a level of destruction. Sonic was shocked. "What are you doing?!" Sonic shout out, being stunned of their actions.

"Azrael said to create a distraction, after all, Cultists been trying to find and exploit Gifters for many years, and they had a pretty much bad blood with the Tribes of Nazar, especially with Gibbor Tribe." Kai explains to them, Sonic's eyes widen in shock when Kai told him about that unsettling fact.

Sonic blink twice. "You knew about this?" He looks over to Nayeli who nodded. "This is why Nueva Eden is hidden away, Cultists been trying to find Gifters like us for many centuries. One of the reasons why Azrael set Aoife with Rescue Team, they tried capture her when she was young and destroying her town on the way to get her." Nayeli explains to Sonic with her voice firm.

Sonic was stunned by this while Nayeli remained calm and composed. She knew about this and it was somehow personal to her and Aoife.

"Don't worry, this is not vengeance for what they did to Aoife or many of the campers. What's important to get children and Itzel to their families and Madre Natividad, after all, there's no winners in revenge." That last part Nayeli said, made Sonic surprised.

There's no winners in revenge. Something that he understood when he lost his guardian, Longclaw.

Sonic never talks about his childhood in Christmas Island or about he had some family. As Sonic could remember, he had no family while growing up in Christmas Island.

No mother, no father or no siblings, it was just him and his legal guardian, Longclaw, a owl who was like Obi-Wan Kenobi but eats mice.

Longclaw was like his mother and she taught him everything she knew before she was killed by pirates while she send Sonic away, in order to protect him.

Sonic thought many times what he would do if he went back and finish them off, but he knew that revenge will never give him back Longclaw.

He understood why Shadow wanted revenge against the people who ruined his life, taking his best friend away and driving Gerald into the point of insanity and brainwashed him, thinking Maria wanted revenge.
