Chapter 14 Burn It Down

If you're wondering how about how old Sonic characters are in this story, here it is.

Sonic, Knuckles, Vector, Espio, Rouge, Blaze, and Silver are at their canon age.

Amy is aged up to fourteen years old, Tails is eleven years old while Cream is around ten or nine years old, and Charmy is around Tails' age.

Omega doesn't count but let's say he acts like a teenager.

Despite Shadow's age is often troubling, let's say his mental age is fifteen or sixteen years old while he's chronologically over 50s.

"YES. YES. YES! FEAR MY POWER, MEATBAGS! OMEGA SWINGS, HAHAHAHA!" Omega laughs like madman while shooting at the enemy. Some of the cultists started running away from Omega's shoots, making the loving destruction robot laugh more before bringing more destruction into the place.

"Wow, that's one crazy golem." Abigail said before shoot lighting from her hand, electrified her opponents while she was looking at Omega.

Team Distraction was doing their task, creating distractions through chaos and destruction, mostly on Omega's side, while buying time for Team Rescue to free the children and Queen Alpha of Warrior Jaguars, and lead them to safety.

Sonic like usual, spin dash to his enemies, pushing them away before using his blue Chaos Energy, charged towards them and unleash an explosion of blue electricity the moment he spins attack them.

Sonic whoops, throws his arms up. "Oh yeah! Sonic one while bad guys zero!" He cheered, he looks around and expect to see his team, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy but there was no one. Sonic's victorious expression soon sadden by knowing that they are in a mission to find the Chaos and Sol Emeralds before Mephiles gets them and destroys them. 

Sonic always take the pleasure of having fun through his battles, like the thrill seeker he is. Even when he fights against Eggman or any enemies he faces. But because of Mephiles' return, he was shaken, and he couldn't take it easy like usual. 

He was afraid because he knew this time, it might be his last run. 

Mephiles did killed him and for sure, he has to stop him from doing to anyone else. Sonic clenched his fists, resolving himself to focus on his mission and see his friends again. Especially when his world was defenseless without him and others, he doesn't know if Eggman has taken over again or G.U.N. preventing another attack that related to Gerald Robotnik's past.

Or worst, humans messing around with beings who has god-like powers like how Eggman awaken Dark Gaia and the humans of Soleanna who angered Solaris, almost cause the end of the world and their universe if it wasn't for Sonic and others prevent it. 

Sonic soon ran more of the enemies, charged his Chaos Energy to defeat the enemies in front of him. 

There's no time for trauma or sadness; I need to find Chaos Emeralds and the Sol Emeralds and save my world and defeat Mephiles. Sonic thought, fighting his way to the enemy. 

I'm never going let him take a life again! He spins attacks, turning his body into a ball and unleashing more the Chaos Energy. 

"Who the hell is that?! I don't remember hedgehog Folks having lightning powers!" One of the cultist shouts across, they were so confused by seeing a hedgehog having super speed and this lightning magic. 

Before they could act, they soon scream when a couple of fireballs came to them. Kai laughs at them before throws them at more. "This is how I didn't imagine our time in Santa Fe. I was thinking of something else..." Kai said, eyeing on Nayeli who slashed couple of cultists with glowing water manipulation. Nayeli turns him after throws a large light shaped spear to the archers above the building.
