When Shrey decided—on my behalf, for me—that I will come to this party, I denied. Even threw tantrums to the point he had to stop by my door and throw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. And he did. Effortlessly carried me over his shoulder and walked us to his car.

I reluctantly agreed to come here, expecting the worst of the worst. 'What else will I get to see?' I had thought.

A huge crowd? Yes. Smoking, drinking, drugs? Definitely, yes. Strangers making out? Absolutely, yes. Almost everything I've seen here so far; I had expected it during the car ride with Shrey.

But what I did not expect was my best friend indulging herself in a kissing spree with someone she didn't tell me she had her crush on.

I rushed towards the circle where she stood, coming to a halt when I noticed the group of boys surrounding them. I tried to walk past them and move closer but instead got shoved away. A hard body pressed against my back and turned around to find Shrey looking down at me in amusement.

"We need to stop them. These guys won't let me go in." I complaint.

He looked at Rehan and Alya. "They are enjoying. Why do you want to kill that?"

"Alya will kill me if she gets to know that instead of breaking them apart, I stood here watching them kiss like I've never seen people kiss."

A smirk played on his lips as he leaned down and asked, "Have you ever seen people kiss?"

"I am now." I grab hold of his wrist, "Do what you did in that lawn."

His brows shot up and his smirk shifted to a huge grin. "What did I do in the lawn?"

My cheeks reddened, flashbacks of his little stunt in public hitting me. "N-not that! Move them aside please." I shook my head. "You're not understanding the situation, Shrey."

A loud gasp, followed by a moan, came from the circle. "Okay fine." He tapped on some guy's shoulder, who nodded when he saw Shrey and shifted to the right, giving him space to move.

Before Shrey could go, I slipped past him, bumping into someone. The guy grunts, twisting his neck to look at me. My eyes widened when I saw who he was. Ryan—the original crush and the one whom Alya should be kissing. He shook his head, disappointed with the interruption and went back to the show.

Going straight towards Alya, I grabbed her arm and I pulled her, breaking their oh-so passionate kiss. She whimpered, while Rehan groaned and the entire crowd booed, cussing and grumbling as I pulled Alya away from the scene.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Alya pressed the heel of her foot on the floor, making it difficult for me to drag her. "Shivani!" I scrunch my face in disgust, the ugly smell of alcohol hitting my nose.

"What the hell are you doing!?" I hissed. "You're drunk!"

"We were playing a game. I was finally kissing Ryan—" She glared. "Why did you stop me?"

"Idiot, you were kissing Rehan right in front of Ryan. Hence, I stopped you. You want to continue that, go." I lightly shoved her towards the circle, still gripping her arm because her legs were wobbly.

She froze. As if the effects of alcohol drained from her face, she sobered up. "I d-didn't." She shook her head.

"You did. Now, turn around and let's go."
