Mornings at the Malfoy Manor were always my favorite. This one in particular felt particularly special and the first thing I decided to do in the morning was go outside. Still in my pajamas and wrapped in my favorite blanket. The summer wind was at a perfect pace making my hair go up and then fall back down on my shoulder's gently. I made my way to the greenhouse at the back of the Malfoy Manor to tend to some of the plants.
I was making my way back inside when the wind started to really pick up forcing me in the opposite direction. Soon after the wind then came rain and my clothes soon stuck to my skin. I swore under my breath and clutched my blanket trying to keep it around my body.
"Y/n come inside!", I hear from the door of the manor. Although I can't see I recognize the voice. It's my boyfriend Mattheo. "Y/n hurry the storm is really picking up!", he says his voice laced with worry.
"I can't!", I yell over the wind and thunder.
"Well do you have your wand?", Mattheo yells back as I am still trying to push my way back to the manor.
"No I left it inside!", I say practically screaming now as the storm picks up even more.
"That's it!", he says taking a step out the door, "I'm coming, stay right there love."
Mattheo being the dark lords son used his wand to put a protective spell over his body making it easy for him to walk towards me. Before I knew it I was being thrown over his shoulder and hauled back into the house.
When we return inside, Mattheo lightly sets me on the floor, and it takes a lot of force to shut the door. After Mattheo gets the door shut he puts his back against it looking up at the ceiling. I walk over to him and pull him in for a hug.
"Don't ever", he pauses taking a second to catch his breath, "do that again", he breathes falling into me and returning the hug.
"I won't" I laugh releasing him and walking towards the stairs to go put some dry clothes on.
"Why the fuck would you leave your wand in the house?", he questions as I'm already halfway up the staircase.
"I'm asking myself the same question"
Mattheo pinches the bridge of his nose but smiles at the same time. "Don't worry I'll be your hero any day"
